Aphrodite almost seems to comfort us, yet she still leaves us here in this icky place. The Sisters of Fate are much more hideous than I thought they would be. Their skin is a pale grey, their skin seems to glob from their bone. They all have at least eight legs, yet the way they crawl it seems like so much more. The whole main room is twindled with red string, they all seem to glow with fate.

After they carried their meals, those who were already seated with their friends stood up for the girls to sit. "Who are they?." I ask facing Suzanne. "They are the goddesses of this school." She answers sipping from her apple juice. "What?." "Yeah. You see her?." She says referring to the one with blonde hair. "Yeah?." "She's the sassy queen. Her name is Sage Norman. Her dad owns this school, no one dares talk back at her or they get expelled." She explains. "Oh." I mouthed. No wonder the woman serving their foods was scared, she doesn't wish to lose her job here.

The name struck something deep in my chest. "Morganna cursed the Lycan line."

Henrik arched his brow. “Delilah is the youngest of the Fayte sisters. Her middle sister, Persephone, is the Delta of Bloodmoon and can ruin anyone with a few strikes of her keyboard. But the one to be afraid of is her eldest sister, Crista, the Luna of Incubi. The last person to mess with Delilah became a smear in a crater of the hospital parking lot when Crista unleashed her power.” I outlined the dangers of the Fayte sisters. “The one that caused the earthquake three years ago on the west coast?” Gunnar asked.

The word stabbed deeper than any blade. My chest heaved, fury consuming me. “My sister? That monster who killed my best friend… who ruined my marriage? That thing is my sister?” My voice roared like a wounded wolf, shaking the void. “She needs your power to reign over both realms. To take your light and bind it to Damien. Her hands twitch at her sides, uncertain whether to push us away or hold on. “I don’t understand,” she mutters, her brows furrowing. “Why are you acting like you know me?” “Because we do,” I say without hesitation, pulling back enough to look into her eyes. “We’re bound, Eva.
