A Game With No Rules

A Game With No Rules

I feel pity for the big guy. Right now, Roman and I are in a stand-off against his cousins Menandro and Lara in a game called Sapo. It meant Choke the Frog, but without an actual frog. A figurine frog sat on top of an erected log in the middle of the garden. Each team has ten gold coins and all we have to do is aim for the frog’s mouth, choke the figurine. It was easier said than done. Each team hasn’t been able to choke the freaking open-mouthed frog yet. We only have four coins left for each team. Menandro missed another shoot. Lara’s aim was no good as well.

My Bully CEO Won't Leave Me Alone

My Bully CEO Won't Leave Me Alone

Hayes smile and wave at Andy before taking off towards the kitchen. "Okay." Andy laughed, as practically all the kids had reached out to grab the leg of the onesie she was wearing “I'm starting to organize the board, so why don't you tell your new friend Gabriel what the rules are?” “It’s really cool, Gabriel! We invented this with Andy! We put these colored sheets on the floor and they turn the board, so we divide into pairs and one will be the player and the other the pawn!” “Hey, Gabriel, you could be the giant!” a girl pointed at him “The giant can make us change houses, if the dice makes you walk to the red paper!”

I very much enjoyed this story. The flow from chapter to chapter was refreshing as there was no repetition in what happened from one chapter to the next. I did, however, find the incorrect usage of pronouns to be a little confusing. Overall, it's a great story author. I look forward to reading more

Loved all the past books and each story within this one.I wish they would have mentioned Massimo as her client once. Also why she didn’t keep up the A in the kids name as her fam tradition it would’ve been cute the name they chose as a middle name&still call them by that but have a first name with A

He interrupted. "Sorry, I'm messing up the explanation. The game we are playing is different from the usual paintball games. You remember the special arrangement I mentioned? Apart from being the sole users of this place, I had them hide four different paint cans in different parts of the forest. Apart from the color in our guns, we each have to find two different colors and shoot the other with those colors. The first to get all three colors on the other wins."

Ghost Sniper

Ghost Sniper

Looking around, she saw three goons standing guard at different angles in the hexagon shaped room. “New game! Entry f*e is two hundred dollars.” The commentator announced. Kimberly counted the equivalent amount worth of chips, and dropped it on the board, along side five other players. The rule of the game was simple. Each player was expected to roll two dice, while the player with the least outcome was eliminated from each round. The first player rolled a seven, followed by the second who rolled a four. Kimberly rolled next and got a nine, which meant she qualified for the next round.

Reborn As A Wolf

Reborn As A Wolf

Cain pours himself a glass of the whiskey and drinks everything in one go, his eyebrow raised. “I need you to spare me some 7s if you have them.” I keep my expression calm, unreadable that not even my eyelashes flicks. I know the rules of this simple game, even if Cain didn’t mention it. If player 1 has the cards that player 2 needs. Player 1 has to give his cards to player 2. This already means that Cain has 1 of the Card 7. And he needs it to complete his box of ponds.

The Billionaire's Wanted Surrogate Mother

Tatiana asked. “I think the pencil and paper game is better, we don't play cards.” Arielle replied. “Besides, someone might cheat too.” “Oh, I see. So, under the pencil and paper, there is: Why? Because, dots and boxes, strokes…" Tatiana proceeded in listing varieties of pencil and paper games with the rules accord to each one of them. “I think dots and boxes is very okay…" Arielle uttered. “I'll go get papers and pencils.” "That doesn't sound like it fun, I think ‘‘why because” is much better.” Miguel disagreed with Arielle's choice of game.

"You love it more. Come on let's see the next game." I blinked at him and smiled a genuine smile, taking his hand in mine. He gave a squeeze, a faint blush creeping on his cheeks as he pulled me towards the next stall. I felt my heart go into an overdrive. They next game was crazy birds, it was pretty much like the angry birds. The colorful blocks were stuck to each other lightly with 8 stuffed birds on it. The participants would get 4 chances to throw balls and knockdown all the blocks so that the birds are lying on the table and not on the blocks. Unless at least 3 birds are left on the blocks, no prize would be given. I heard a guy screaming in frustration as the fourth bird fell on the b

The Games We Play

The Games We Play

Deceitful Indulgence Patrick Sylas loosely jotted something down. He wasn’t sure if it was gibberish or if he was writing what he saw. Whatever he scribbled, it was beyond the purpose of their meeting. Editor Sylas glanced down, his dark brows furrowed. He managed to write something coherent. Annoyed, he ripped the page clean off and folded it twice. Pat stuffed it in between random areas to forget about it. He was lucky. The staff seated in front and on his side were too busy to watch his movements.
