My Possessive Billionaire

My Possessive Billionaire

POV: Selina That’s when I saw it. Tucked into the narrow, shadowed space between the marble vanity and the wall, right where the baseboard met the tile, was a small, metallic glint. It wasn’t a bottle cap or a lost piece of jewelry. It was a key. A simple, old-fashioned skeleton key, its brass dulled by time and moisture, its bow shaped like an intricate, twisted vine. My breath hitched. It was the kind of key that would fit an ornate, antiquated keyhole. Like the one on his study door.

 UNWED AND EXPECTING

UNWED AND EXPECTING

**A Door to Darkness** The once cozy cabin has become a fortress under siege. The wind howls outside, shaking the fragile structure, while the ominous voice beyond the door echoes with a bone-chilling threat. Shadows dance on the walls, illuminated only by the flickering light from the fireplace. Inside, the tension is suffocating as Ethan, Sophia, and Jason stand frozen, their minds racing to comprehend the danger creeping closer.

Knotting the Hunter

Knotting the Hunter

"No. But I have a description. A twenty foot tall skeleton built from human skeletal remains. Silver bolts bounced off it. There were wolves involved with taking it down." "A Gashadokuro." He pronounces it like a fine vintage. "The starved dead, gathered up and walking. Rare, noisy, and Japanese, which is the interesting part, Miss Sweeney, because we are a very long way from Japan and they’re not known for traveling." His finger taps the bar counter, filing something of his own that I’m sure he has no intention of sharing with the class. As long as it keeps Leon out of trouble I don’t care.

This book is so good! The 3 books I’ve read so far from this author are on my top 5 favorite on this app and this one is about to be #4! Love the writing style and love the humor in the story. I’m rooting for Dax and Noah!

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

The Alpha's Regret: Rising From The Ash

The nails screeched. The lid popped open. I took a deep breath. I braced myself for the smell of decay. I lifted the lid and threw it back. I looked inside. The scream died in my throat. There was no skeleton. There were no bones. There was no dust. The coffin was filled with bricks. Red construction bricks. They were stacked neatly in rows to simulate the weight of a body. I stared at them. My mind tried to reject what my eyes were seeing. "It is empty," Kael whispered.

The Runaway Heiress:Seven Days of Sin

The Runaway Heiress:Seven Days of Sin

Somehow I thought that salutation would be better coming from a hot billionaire than my best friend. "I'm coming," I called as I crawled off my bed and moved toward the door. The locking mechanism clicked when I turned the key. The old house still had skeleton keys for each room. It was how the unused rooms could be locked from the outside. The obvious problem with skeleton keys was that most every one of them was the same. It didn't take a jailer's ring to open any of the doors. All you needed was one key, unless the key was in place on the other side.

I Dare You, Alpha Jones Capturing His Pet

I Dare You, Alpha Jones Capturing His Pet

“I will never be able to understand why they would go to such trouble or why they would be so twisted. For that matter, why can you mess with it, Luna Jones?” “That’s question I don’t have an answer for. But I want to know the answer to before this is over. As for why they did this. They needed a closet to store their skeletons. Along the way they found extra uses for the space and the discarded thing in their makeshift closet. Maybe creatures like me were created to keep this place in order? You know like a wardrobe mistress or a librarian?” Raven felt like that made sense. “Raven, the vibration. We must hurry to find out where it is coming from.” Dominic said. He wouldn’t allow her to go d

The Bitten and the Born

The Bitten and the Born

Bastion opened the door and lowered his head to walk through keeping his eyes before him. Following behind him, Raven and her mama stole glances at each other in assurance they should continue following him. Neither of them were sure they weren’t being taken to their demises. “Bastion,” Alexandre whimpered, “Where are you taking us?” “Look.” Bastion pointed his long thick finger towards the other side of the room. There. The men that got away that day. Well the skeletons of them. But they had a tether to them. It looked like a spell bag hanging from each of their spines hanging over their rib cages. Bastion said some quiet words and the bones came alive as their spirits filled their dangling

The Hidden Chip in the Martyr's Bones

The Hidden Chip in the Martyr's Bones

When I opened my eyes again, half my body was trapped in wet cement, immobile. Jen crouched down, brushing the messy strands of hair from my face with her usual tenderness. "Sylvia, human experimentation is illegal… our mentor said this lab must be permanently sealed." I struggled desperately, but the cement coiled around me like a venomous snake. Cold sludge surged over my chest, pressing against each rib until it groaned under the weight. "Don't struggle, Sylvia," Jen sang a nursery rhyme, tilting the last bucket of cement. "Otherwise… it will trap bubbles as it hardens."

The Lycan's Gold Digger Wife

The Lycan's Gold Digger Wife

I look around, and from the light, I can finally make out what is on the floor that I was touching a while ago. It's a fucking human skeleton. I let out a shriek and try to move further back. "Get me out of here. Get me out of here, please." I pleaded with him, but all my pleas fell on deaf ears as he just laughed at my predicament. "Oh no, I'm sorry, but I can't do that. I unfortunately cannot let you out of here. You want to know why?" I nod. "Good girl. Because your stupid husband doesn't want to give up what we want to save your life. Tell me, dear." He moves closer to the gate. "Does he even care about you?"

World Of Darkness

World Of Darkness

To the south of the valley not far from its present location was a group of simple structures next to the mountains, which gave the appearance of being a mine. But there was something strange, a group of about fourteen figures were marching in close formation in the direction of the middle. "A police car?" Zark asked. To which Nyos, who was taking a spyglass out of his backpack replied "I doubt it." "the reasons?" Keil asked directly. But before Nyos could answer, the one who gave an answer was Ingrid "Because they are undead, more specifically they are skeletons." While Nyos nodded after rectifying the statement looking with his spyglass, he handed this to Keil.
