Knotting the Hunter

Knotting the Hunter

"No. But I have a description. A twenty foot tall skeleton built from human skeletal remains. Silver bolts bounced off it. There were wolves involved with taking it down." "A Gashadokuro." He pronounces it like a fine vintage. "The starved dead, gathered up and walking. Rare, noisy, and Japanese, which is the interesting part, Miss Sweeney, because we are a very long way from Japan and they’re not known for traveling." His finger taps the bar counter, filing something of his own that I’m sure he has no intention of sharing with the class. As long as it keeps Leon out of trouble I don’t care.

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

Apex of Love

Apex of Love

3:17 ticks to 3:18, and I'm already upright, legs already over the mattress edge, bare feet already on the cold floor. This is insane. Normal people don't do this. Employed people don't do this. This is a horror film setup. This is a headline: Temp Found Dead, Billionaire's Penthouse, Film at Eleven. I'm standing. I'm in the closet. I'm yanking out the only decent dress I still own—black, basic, clearance-rack Somerset Collection from three years ago, back when I still believed I'd finish the degree and land the career and become a woman who needed nice dresses.

The Lover in the Closet

The Lover in the Closet

" Tristan's voice was thick with tears by the time he was done speaking. However, I simply looked at him coldly while peeling his fingers away from my hands. "It's too late, Tristan," I said. "I've already left the closet, and I'm never going back inside ever again." Tristan had confessed his true feelings much too late.

Paper Promises

Paper Promises

At the end, two doors. “This is yours,” he says, opening the first. Mine is a bedroom the size of our old apartment, with a view so clean the sky seems ironed. The bed is low and wide. A vase of white peonies waits like a promise I don’t trust. “And this,” he says, the next door, “is the closet. It isn’t a closet. It’s an ecosystem. Racks organized by color and season. Hangers that all agree with each other. Shoes in quiet rows. A vanity with lighting that forgives. On a dress form, a black gown sleeps under tissue paper.

Marked by betrayal, bound to the Lycan Lord.

Marked by betrayal, bound to the Lycan Lord.

Susan said he always kept one, and if I found it, I could know where he was going and who he was meeting and set up a very beautiful trap for Chloe. I quickly moved in the dark, the lights were off and I had no intention of switching them on, the fluttering moonlight was all I needed to find what I was looking for. I quickly walked to his desk and opened drawers, lifted books, checked behind papers. Still nothing. I walked to his wardrobe, but it was locked. I scoffed, trying to force it open. “What the hell?” I muttered. “Why would anyone lock their wardrobe?” Who am I kidding? This is Kael, I won't be shocked if I find an actual skeleton in his closet.

Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

I screamed as the firelight drenched them, revealing transparent skeletons instead of their elegant silhouettes, dressed in tattered shrouds like grave-bound corpses. Without warning, Corpseboy grabbed an apple and shoved it into my mouth. I bit down reflexively. As its juices drenched my mouth, the skeletons became flesh, their rags turning into clothes. I was confronted by a whole retinue of noble-looking men and women dressed in elegant gowns and old-fashioned suits, eying me with disdain. Corpseboy, oblivious to their disapproval, grinned widely. “See, Callie? Nothing to be afraid of. Now come along or the tea will grow cold.” “They're dead,” I whispered in horror.

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

As the skeletons fell out, everyone was taken aback. There wasn’t just one set of skeletons, but a few. “Oh, my God! There are so many sets of skeletons!” When Rey saw this, he exclaimed. “There must be more than one corpse here!” Gerald reminded Harold. As an inspector, Harold would naturally be able to see that. He was equally shocked. He didn’t expect that there were still so many corpses hidden inside the Hoklux Gang. No wonder Gerald had said that there was a strong aura of resentment here. It seemed to be true.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

The Billionaire's Pregnant Wife

The Billionaire's Pregnant Wife

"Feeling obliged to this misconception drives men to make ruins of their lives." "What are you doing here?" Kendrick muttered. He couldn't see the person behind him, but he didn't need to be told who it was. "Let's just call it a coincidence." The voice chuckled. "It seems like people are fond of visiting late relatives late at night these days." "And I have to say that I'm quite astonished." The footsteps approached and the figure stood beside him. "Who would have thought that you'd have such a big skeleton in your closet?" "I'd advise you to mind your business."

This is a great story. I have never seen a plot like this. Most of the stories I come across mostly talk about the same thing. This is the first time I'm reading something so unique. Thank you, Author.

Everyone is saying this story is good. But why is no one speaking about Hailey's character? I'm head over heels for her. I love how naive and strong she is. she protects the ones around her. she also has a good heart. This story is not only good, it is also filled with great life lessons.

Alpha’s regret : The return of his rejected mate

He had pushed Damian’s spare ammo crates onto the floor to make room for his book. Damian sat on the floor, his back against the wall, his stone leg stretched out. He was cleaning the Hammer. "You're in my seat," Damian grunted. "It's a comfortable chair," the Skeleton rasped. "For a jailer." The Skeleton turned a page of the skin-book. "Your son," the Skeleton mused. "He is clever. He hardened his shell. He made himself... crunchy." "He made himself tough," Damian corrected. "Inedible," the Skeleton agreed. "For now. My hounds do not like metal. It breaks their

My Boss Is My Tormentor

My Boss Is My Tormentor

And, drank some more. At one in the morning, I had given up on drinking, discarding the bottle I made a beeline for the door then remembered that I didn’t have keys for my apartment. I went back to our bedroom, nope-his bedroom, and opened the bedside drawer of his bed as I took the keys for my apartment. Just when I was about to turn, my gaze locked on the slightly parted closet door. Not knowing what I was about to do, I pushed the door wide open and stepped inside his closet. Lovely. All three prices suits were hanging in perfect symmetry. Suits that he wore for that skank.

it is really near as much as I love those chapters as much as my heart is breaking for them ... she feels him slipping, and he is desperate to take everything and have her imprinted in him... Gush, so emotional chapters and beautiful written...

What I love most about this story is the constant sense of mystery. There’s more to the office politics and the MMC's past than meets the eye. I’m still deeply invested and eager to see how it unfolds, The romance is sizzling, but the suspense is just as thrilling!
