I stood up, hastily twisted my body to turn around while creating another round of screeching sound. When the tip drew a full circle on the ground, like a discus throw, I released my sword, sending it flying towards her. She could easily dodge it, I know, but while her attention was on the sword, I took another flight with a jump, pulled out my whip, and veered it in the air before aiming for her neck. Flinching when I hear the sickening crunch of something breaking, although I cushioned her head, impacting with the wall. “She’ll be fine!” Raihana reassures me. “I’m going down!” I nod, relieved when I see Skyla get back up and rip a crawler to shreds with her bare hands, even if it doesn’t die and will rejuvenate. I finish the spell as Raihana disappears into the opening we created. Her power blasting rock to smithereens as she paves the way through.

Mona looked at me with sorrowful eyes. “Her name is Sky. She Is the daughter of the second largest dragon kingdom in the world. Second to ours.” I swallowed the bile that had worked its way up my throat, and I asked the question that I didn’t really want the answer to. “What is she to Brax, Mona?” I already knew the answer to my question. Looking at her toes, Mona answered my question. “Brax used to date Sky. She was his first… everything.” Why did I even ask that? I already knew she was important to him based on his reaction to her.

All the splinters have dissolved. “Hahahaha is that all you can do? Being superior?” Amber said is about to attack her again, when I see that Sky is already facing to face with her. She starts hitting her violently and as soon as Amber tries to parry the blows or touch her, Sky’s body turns red and long claws grow at her hands.
