I stared between the both of them in complete shock. Then my eyes moved to Dorian, then back to Axel and back to Skye again. “No way…” Skye chuckled while Axel smiled seeing my reaction.

Skylar Ryder killed the engine but didn’t move. “I’m not going in. You know they don’t like me. Never have. And now? With all this? They’ll see me and think I turned you into some monster. I’m dropping you off, Sky. You go talk. I’ll wait in the truck.”

She stared at the message that had just arrived: “Tyler is Adrian’s first son, ask him about it.” Her fingers trembled as she typed back. “Who are you, and how do you know all of this?” A moment passed before another message lit up the screen. “I am a friend. I’m just looking out for you and Lia. Believe me, I have your best interest at heart.” “Then why do it from the shadows? Why won’t you say who you are?” Stacey typed, her anxiety growing. “Me telling you all of this is already risking enough.” Stacey exhaled shakily.

She answered stretching her hand forward for a handshake and I took it. Of course even her hands are soft and fucking perfect. Something about her was oddly familiar, like I had known her.
