He reached down, closed a fist around each of his two shivering men's jacket collars, and dragged them up onto their feet.
He didn't run. He walked them backward toward the gravel lane, keeping his eyes glued to Hiro's fat neck.
At the edge of the dock, where the sleet whipped off the metal roof, Ryota stopped. He didn't yell. He dropped his voice so low it barely carried over the drumming rain, cold and deadly.
"Spend every dollar, Hiro," Ryota said. "Buy yourself a nice casket. Real oak, if you can afford it. Because when I come back for you, I'm not bringing a calculator. I'm bringing a body bag."
