“Who we are does not matter, what matters is that the Wolves will die tonight!” Zephyr huffed, produced out his sword, and quickly sprinted towards him. “Ha! Do you not know where you are? I am Ghost! You will not be spared tonight!” he replied. Seeing Zephyr rush over, Ghost steadied himself. “Wolf’s Howl!” Ghost howled, with that the attack started. Even though he looked barbaric and unruly, he was very careful. Seeing how many of his men had been slaughtered, even if he did not know who Zephyr was, he knew he was formidable.

His action was futile. The ghost focused on Rian. Her black eyes burned with recognition. Her hatred intensified. "Traitor," the ghost hissed. Her voice tore at the edges of my sanity. "You killed me to save the world. You gave the Mate to the darkness." "She is not the darkness," Rian shouted. He was fighting psychological warfare. "She is the Anchor. She is the cure." The ghost laughed. The sound was dry. It was cold. She plunged her spectral hands into Rian's chest. She did not harm the flesh. She targeted his core.

“I want you to see me, to understand what I have endured.” She reached out, her fingers brushing against my arm, sending jolts of electricity coursing through my body. “You feel it, don’t you? The connection between us?” I swallowed hard, struggling to find my voice. “Connection?” I echoed, my heart pounding. “This isn’t real. You’re a ghost…a spirit.” Her laughter rang out, soft and haunting, reverberating through the empty hallways. “I am more than a ghost, Elias. I am a fragment of your desires, a reflection of your deepest fears. But together, we can transcend this reality.”

She lunged at me, her face a sickly pale green, her eye sockets empty black pits. I stood my ground. "He's not coming back," I said softly. "You can be at peace now." The ghost froze. Her shoulders trembled, and she let out a faint whimper, as if a great weight had been lifted. The black mist around her dissipated. Her form turned faint, then transparent, until she dissolved into a wisp of light that drifted toward the rose bushes. Lorenzo's eyes lit up. "Damn, where'd you learn that trick?"

As the first wave of humans begins to cry out and fall to the floor, I stand up, leaning down over the glass railing. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth.He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.

Jack roared. Across dimensions, Haley squeezed her eyes shut and unleashed a massive wave of pure, chaotic reality-bending energy. The universe glitched. Inside the Aethelgard, the spectral fur of the Ghost Alphas suddenly solidified. They gasped, their intangible forms suddenly anchored to the laws of physics. "Now!" Jack yelled. Charon moved like a viper. The assassin lunged from the shadows, his blade finding the throat of the nearest solidified ghost. The creature dissolved into ash.

Leon panted, scanning the dim corridor as his breath came in uneven bursts. Suddenly, a faint figure emerged out of the shadows—the female ghost. Her face was blurred and indistinct, her presence otherworldly. She didn’t speak but raised a hand that glowed faintly blue, pointing silently in a specific direction. Leon froze, instinctively stepping back half a pace. But time was slipping through his fingers, and hesitation was a luxury he couldn’t afford. Clenching his jaw, he forced himself to follow the ghost’s lead.
