Rejected and Abandoned: The Luna’s Reawakening

Rejected and Abandoned: The Luna’s Reawakening

“Sleeping Beauty has nothing on you.” Sleeping Beauty hasn't been through half of the things I've faced in the past few months so I think my sleep time is justified. “How long was I out for?” She closed the book and looked at me. “Eleven hours. I'm not sure Liam knows who you are anymore.” Speaking of Liam… “Did he take the bottle before he slept?” She nodded. “He took two bottles. Whatever you and the Prince did yesterday to make all of you so tired, it must have been fun. Liam went right back to sleep as soon as he was done taking his bottles.

The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

I said as she smiled at me and only spoke one word, “We…” Nymeria was quick to add, “She is saying we, not bee…” I smiled brightly at her. “I got it right this time, don’t worry” Pushing a few stray locks of her hair aside, I placed a kiss on Celia’s forehead. We had done it. “There is no we without you,” I said and gently bent down to slowly kiss her lips. “And the prince charming breaks the spell by kissing the sleeping beauty…” I said before Nymeria would ask me to behave for the millionth time.

I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update

In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)

WOLF DEN (BOOK:-1) The Mystery of Black Clan

WOLF DEN (BOOK:-1) The Mystery of Black Clan

"So our Sleeping Beauty finally awoke from his deep slumber and decided to grace us with his oh so lovely presence, huh? Did you finally get the cure to the curse from the Spindle? Oh wait, did your Prince Charming finally kiss you? So much for pretending to be a hero. Now look where it got you." Malo said as he gave a quick glance in Ash direction who blushed at his comment, then looked back at Alexander and gave him a light, playful punch on his shoulder.

The Demon's Daughter

The Demon's Daughter

Cassie said finally, not breaking eye contact with her brother "That we need to call in the Sword Sisters" Maddie felt like she had slept enough for two lifetimes. Prising her eyes open from another fitful sleep, she groaned and sat up. The room in which she was kept was bloody with the light of sunset. Across the room, turning a switchblade in his hands, the light colouring his long blonde locks red, stood Jason. "So," He said "Who kissed Sleeping Beauty awake?" Maddie groaned, rubbing her head. Her joints felt sore, and her mouth tasted like ashes.

The Mates’ Vengeance

The Mates’ Vengeance

I'm so hungry that I could eat two horses. I sat on the bed, yawning loudly. As I turned, I saw the mysterious man from that night, staring at me. My heart began beating faster as his gaze was intense. “Sleeping Beauty just woke up.” He said with a smile on his lips, as he stood up and headed toward the bed where I lay. I gripped the blankets in fear, pulling it up to my chin.

Love this story so far. I hope she gets her revenge and second chance at real true love this time. Karma for the alpha and sister that betrayed and cheated on her. The Moon goddess will help her. Hopefully she is a special and powerful wolf.

Considering all comments between chapters seem to disappear, I expect this to as well... This story starts with a lot of promise. Unfortunately, it soon becomes disjointed and VERY repetitive. It feels like there’s been a lot of cut and paste going on. The author loses many opportunities to enthral.

Pretend You're Mine (Moon Fever 1)

"How long do you think we wait until Mommy will wake up?' Brandon wondered. "That's why we're here to find the solution," Lady Adeline reminded her little assistance. "I only read about the sleeping beauty, Aunt Ady." "Hmm. I knew about that one," the scientist said. "Are you talking about the Prince kissing the sleeping princess, and she woke up?" Brandon inquired." "Yes, that one," Vinzen replied. "No, that's cheesy," Zachary said. "We watched that with Mommy and Bran... I don't think that would work with Mom and Dad. I think it was the opposite." "What do you mean, Zach?"

3 BOOKS. The Lunas of vengeance

3 BOOKS. The Lunas of vengeance

I stood frozen, watching the scene unfold, my heart racing as I fought to comprehend what was happening. Then everything faded to black. I gasped awake, my body drenched in sweat, my heart still racing. For a moment, I couldn’t remember where I was. As I blinked against the harsh light, the familiar scent of herbs filled my senses. “Welcome back to the land of the living, Sleeping Beauty,” a voice teased. I turned my head to see a woman with dark hair and sharp green eyes standing beside me, a playful smirk on her lips. “I’m Katya, the Bohemian doctor. You’ve been flirting with death a bit too much, haven’t you?”

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST *** I woke up feeling tired, and my head was aching badly. My mind instantly played back to what happened yesterday and the tears suddenly welled up in my eyes. I stood up and walked to the full length mirror while I stared at my reflection. What was I thinking when I said yes to him? he's cheating on me, not just with any random person but my step sister and he's been lying to me about it to. I broke down in tears.

Frequently Asked Questions

I still get a little giddy when I think about how different Aurora feels between the old cartoon and the live-action reinvention. Growing up, I had the 1959 'Sleeping Beauty' on VHS and that version painted her like a classical fairy-tale princess: ethereal, musical, and mostly a symbol in a grand, stylized tapestry. She’s graceful, sings 'Once Upon a Dream', and exists within a very painterly world inspired by medieval art and Tchaikovsky. The animation, Mary Costa’s dreamy voice, and those color-swapping gowns make her feel like a piece of fine porcelain—beautiful and slightly distant. The story centers on the curse and the prince’s role in breaking it, so Aurora’s agency is minimal by modern standards.

Watching 'Maleficent' years later felt like meeting Aurora again but in a different life. Elle Fanning’s Aurora is still kind and fairy-tale pretty, but she’s more curious, emotionally rounded, and shown growing up under Maleficent’s complicated care rather than being purely the passive prize. The live-action films reframe the conflict—Maleficent’s motivations, the human betrayals, and the nature of ‘true love’ are all questioned—so Aurora ends up reflecting that complexity. Costume design, lighting, and the whole gothic-romantic vibe shift how I read her: from symbol to a young woman with feelings, choices, and meaningful relationships beyond just a romantic arc.

I like both versions for different reasons. The original is a gorgeous, classical piece of animation that revels in mythic tropes, while 'Maleficent' gives the character emotional texture and lets the audience care about her growth. If you’re curious, watch them back-to-back: the contrast is a neat lesson in how storytelling and cultural expectations about heroines have changed, and it makes me appreciate how flexible these old tales can be when retold with new lenses.
