Alpha Draven's Regret; Chasing My Secretary

Alpha Draven's Regret; Chasing My Secretary

' I tried to pull away from it again but the force pulled me back even harder, causing me to hit the left side of my head on the wall. "Ouch!" I screamed. This was no ordinary wall at all. I rearranged myself in a better stance to pull back even stronger but the creak happened again and this time, I felt the wall move. "What the fuck?!" The wall moved again and pushed me backward, well, sideways because my left side was practically glued to it at that moment. The wall was freaking moving and I was glued to it I was freaking losing my mind. But I guess that was only the tip, the opposite wall started closing in as well.

I'm saving this book so that I can read it. it sounds like it'll be a good one but I'm really hoping that this book is different from the rest in where she doesn't take the douche canoe back and finds a far better all consuming love. fingers crossed!

There is a disconnect between 113 & 114 chapter. 113 ended with Draven asking question to Emily and 114 began with after effects of Emilys response. What was her response? suddenly there is 117 (the chapters in between are missing) & today 115 uploaded (no relation to 113 or 114) is very confusing.

Summer Child

Summer Child

Slowly, she slid down to stand on her own two feet, wanting to direct them to a far better spot - maybe back to the sofa in the living room, even. But before she could, he had her pressed against the wall, next to the shelves, and she flung a hand out to steady her suddenly weakened knees. She found purchase against a bank of heavy old tomes, accidentally shoving a few in deeper. The unmistakable sound of something clicked and the entire case swung smoothly out toward them.

The Billionaire's Little Thief

The Billionaire's Little Thief

It refused to move and I pressed harder which made the pin bent slightly. My pulse quickened. Come on... I tried again and the screw moved. hope flickered inside me. I kept turning it as quietly as I could until the screw loosened enough for the frame to shift. Not enough to remove it, but enough to make removing possible later. A sharp knock rattled the door. “Are you done yet?” I quickly pushed the frame back into place before flushing the toilet. “Almost!” I splashed water over my hands, took one last look at the window, and committed every detail to memory.

Replaced by His First Love

Replaced by His First Love

No one had designed the tray as a weapon. There. They had given me the first wrong edge. I picked up a sock. The floor flashed. STATE COMFORT METHOD. "No." INVALID RESPONSE. I bit off a loose thread with my teeth. Serena frowned. The screens murmured with thousands of people doing the same in their homes. Confusion moved faster than belief, but not as deep. I tied the thread around the corner of the gray scarf, tight enough to make a small knot. My fingers slipped twice. Blood from my wrist made the thread slick. The first knot fell apart. The second caught on a frayed edge of the scarf and pulled one loose strand free.

SOLD AS THE ALPHA KING'S PET

SOLD AS THE ALPHA KING'S PET

If I could loosen it or use it as a blunt force— I gripped the rack and pulled. It didn’t budge. I pulled again, harder this time, teeth clenched, muscles screaming. The metal groaned faintly, screws creaking against the wall. “Yes,” I breathed. “Yes.” I braced one foot against the wall and yanked with everything I had left. Something snapped—not cleanly, but enough. One side of the rack came loose, hanging at an angle. I froze, listening but there was still nothing.

The Cross Family

The Cross Family

Then she stood on the cot. The vent was high, but not unreachable. She stretched upward, fingertips brushing the edge. Metal dust flaked onto her hand. She pressed gently. The corner shifted. Her heart kicked, but her face stayed calm as if calm could trick her own adrenaline into staying quiet. She worked the edge slowly, using her nails to scrape at the loosened screw. It wasn’t fully removed. Someone had tightened it just enough to look secure. But not enough to withstand persistent pressure. She twisted. Again. Again.

Ghost Of My Heart

Ghost Of My Heart

Hue hissed and glared at the telly when it went through glitches again, trying to cut off the connection to the other telly. He approached the glitching telly, and bloodlust loomed from behind him. “Keep connecting me to the space of that room. If you dare to deny my entry, I will break you apart with my bare hands!” He intimidated the helpless object as he reached out, ready to grab it. Alas, before he could climb through, somebody pushed him away. The handsome man fell to the floor, rolled away like sushi. He managed to stop himself from rolling further as he clawed the floor and got on one knee. Just imagine a squirrel landing on the ground in a heroic stance.

I’m only on chapter 14, but so far I really like it... ...️ There’s a lot of chapters, 183 total so far, so I don’t see myself catching up anytime soon. Either way, I’m sure I’ll enjoy the journey till the end!

You messed with the wrong house

You messed with the wrong house

I took a small rope and tied it and the lower side of the rails of the steps and then on the nail. I touched it a few times to see if it was strong enough to make someone fall, and it was strong so I got up and measured my length and took a transparent tape and put it on both sides and the end of the stairs. I put a lot so if someone's face got stuck in it it won't hold,I just hope that it doesn't wear off before they come. Just to be on the safe side I added more gum to the transparent tape and then I nodded in approval. I took two steps into the hallway just to measure where a person's face would hit if he fell from the trap and then I marked it and placed spikes on the floor.

Mrs. Hunt for 30 days

Mrs. Hunt for 30 days

I pressed my hand against the wall for support and dragged myself forward. The world tilted sideways and I stumbled against the wall hard enough to knock a framed picture to the floor. The crash echoed through the house but I couldn't stop to worry about broken glass or damaged property, I just needed to reach that bedroom door that seemed to be getting farther away instead of closer.

My UNFATED Mate

My UNFATED Mate

The Wall is the worst thing about this whole camp. It's like an obstacle we went over the first few days, but ten times harder. That obstacle had pieces of Velcro on it to help you not slip. The Wall is completely smooth, and around five feet higher. You have to run to gain momentum and then climb like Spiderman until you get on the top of it. Elliot and Lesley have climbed it as a demonstration countless times without even running out of breath, but none of us delinquents have been able to.
