Oh No! I Hired My Husband's Boyfriend

Oh No! I Hired My Husband's Boyfriend

Aris didn't bother waiting for a formal invitation; she strode across the marble foyer with the precision of a surgeon, her sensible heels echoing sharply, like the ticking of a bomb about to detonate. "I prefer the dining table for this," she stated flatly, her voice a smooth, authoritative timbre that brooked no argument. "Broad surfaces promote openness and transparency. Please, take a seat." George didn't give her a moment to settle her briefcase. He buzzed around her like a frantic insect, his movements jerky and desperate. "You're right on time, Doctor. God, I've been trapped in a nightmare here, a full-blown psychological battlefield. This woman…" he jabbed a shaky finger toward Kathe

Beyond A Substitute

Beyond A Substitute

And with that, she walked out of the dining room, leaving Kingsley sitting in front of untouched eggs, a cooling coffee cup, and the heavy, suffocating silence of a marriage barely breathing. That same morning in Brooklyn, the light filtered in softly through the gauzy curtains, casting a warm glow over the small living room of Katherine’s apartment. She sat curled on the couch in an oversized hoodie, legs tucked beneath her, a novel in her hands. A half-empty mug of chamomile tea rested on the side table, its steam long faded. The book was good—slow, but good. She had underlined a sentence in pencil just a few minutes ago: “Sometimes the things we walk away from are the only things we ever

I truly enjoyed this novel, the characters were realistic and genuine. The way you incorporated the characters story and the way you used the dialogue with the growth of each character through the recovery ...️‍🩹 was amazing. Would like to read more from you author!

Enjoying the book so far. I’m still new to the book. I feel that they both got what they needed in the beginning. He was hurting and found a safe place in Katherine. She lost herself in him. I can’t wait to see what happens next

Rejected: Mated to Another Alpha

Rejected: Mated to Another Alpha

She hadn’t spoken to me directly since the gathering, preferring instead to let her glares and frosty silences speak volumes. I stood and headed to the mirror, brushing my fingers through my curls and smoothing out the creases in my dress. No matter how much effort I put into my appearance, it was never enough for her. Always second-rated to her Caitlyn, she’d once sneered at a look I thought was perfect. Katherine’s quarters were nothing short of intimidating. The dark wood furniture and rich crimson drapes gave the space an air of authority, and the faint scent of lavender and cedar hung in the air, a stark contrast to her icy demeanor.

Joe and Alice

Joe and Alice

This is usually the busiest moment at the Castle-Blue, and it's also the time when many of the tenants actually get to see some of their neighbours. After entering the elevator, Joe pushes the reflecting gold elevator button. And as the door closes, a slender hand interrupts it. Katherine, the woman who lives in the apartment next to Joe's walks in. She has got a yellow tank top and a pair of pink sweat pants on. She is most likely returning from her daily yoga sessions. Katherine should be in her late forties or early fifties, but she still looks like a twenty year old, or at least, that's what she tells everyone. Truth be told, she looks quite young for her age. Her healthy dieting and con

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

CAGED: IN HIS LOVE

With a long sigh, she further resumed, "Without a doubt, these days are going to be hard for me to get up with him. Don't know what the future has in store for me?" She stayed rooted at her place staring at the place he just got in and practically held her breath for a second. As soon as his figure disappeared from her sight directly into his study, she blinked back, walking forward and following the staircase she went back to her room. "..." After getting worn out with Aaron's sickass mind all through the entire dinner, Kathy at last returned to her 'room sweet room' and calmly took a breath in relief. In spite of the fact that she knows it was a 'home sweet home' yet for Kathy this only ro

pretty good start. enough descriptive imagery. the blurb was okay. seems like there's enough conflict to keep the story interesting. the blurb needs some proofreading, as well as the first chapters (typos, tense consistency issues, punctuation, etc.). overall, nice work

The synopsis hints that this story has more in it than it seems. The chapters need some editing, but nothing that damages the story as it is right now. The ML is easily hated, but I bet there is more about him than the first chapters shows.

THE HUSBAND TRAP

THE HUSBAND TRAP

he finished looking at Taryn and then at Kat. Katherine knew Patrick was Aiden's business partner and that he was wheelchair bound because of a terrible accident. She only saw him in pictures, so she was looking forward to meeting him in person. Katherine and Taryn parted ways as their men showed them around. Aiden took Katherine to a beautiful room. It smelled like heaven inside, and it was stacked with all the amenities. Aiden placed the large travel bag by the closet door and the small one in a chair that was beside the bed. Katherine began looking around. She checked the closet and the bathroom. There was a sliding door, which led to a balcony, which she went and examine.

I enjoyed reading this book as it had a great start and ending to the story with the main characters. It held my attention from beginning to the beautiful ending. I would gladly read other novels written by this author.

Her Lipstick

Her Lipstick

"I see, Osborne Co, huh?' Havie mumbled while glancing at an empty desk by his. It was the temporary desk that Katherine had occupied while the first floor was under renovation. As a truly apathetic person as he is, Havie never cared about the existence of new people around him. Everyone feels the same for him: nothing. Even his friends who had been with him for 5 years at school also felt the same for him: nothing. He didn't want anything from them, and vice versa. But something was definitely bothering him about that woman, Katherine. Her brunette hair which was wavy down below her shoulders, with her comma bangs covering half of her forehead, looked just right for her. Her skin looks soft

Mommy, Please Give Daddy a Second Chance

Mommy, Please Give Daddy a Second Chance

Kathy was unpacking boxes in her apartment. Heck, the place wasn’t an apartment. It seemed like a mansion compared to her earlier home. She’d never had rooms this large. Kathy loved the large airy feel of the space, with its large windows, exposed brick, and barn wood floors. Heath called it the carriage house and she could see carriages stored in this building ages ago. It made her creative juices flow as she set up her workroom. A room dedicated for her work. She didn’t have to sleep in the ink-scented, printer-filled room.

I beg giving her my best sad look. Looking around to see if anyone is listening, Mary leans in whispering, “Her room is two doors down on the right. I have to go that way now, so you might catch the door before it closes.” Smiling at Mary, I give her a nod and chuckle to myself. I can see I still have it when it comes to dazzling the ladies. Now to turn that charm on for Kate.

Love this book. Poor Kate went through so much during the course of this book. She went from being rejected, having to postpone being made Alpha, to being challenged and attacked multiple times. I'm so happy that she finally got her mate, Colby, who seems to be amazing.

I love the long chapter at the start. but out of curiosity, how old is the author? theres a lot of slipping between first and third person which you usually see in younger writing. maybe ESL. i am yet to finish chapters 1 - 7 it will be an interesting journey

A Toy For The Ruthless Mafia Lord

A Toy For The Ruthless Mafia Lord

Just a small section occupied his bed and his gaming table and accessories. “Um, welcome to my room?” He said. She nodded softly not wanting to make it obvious that she was staring too much but he must have observed cause he said, “I know it's really tight but yeah it was the least I could grab. Was meant to be the storage room, if that helps.” She gave a small smile.“That's fine” “I'll just move a few boxes,” he said. “Hold noah please.” Katherine took her baby and watched him get busy. Her mind was fixed on the bed. It was the size of a cot you'd find at cell houses. And all she could wonder was how they were going to fit. Even her, just her alone, couldn't fit.
