I'm anyway the smartest one of the lot." I chuckled despite myself as the other two girls rolled their eyes good naturedly. They were clearly close to each other, yet somehow I didn't feel like an outsider sitting here with them, watching them bicker back and forth. If anything, I was glad to have some friends here.

He looked over at me. ‘Her name is Amy. She's our healer for first-time shifters. She allows them to rest on her as she hums to them, which helps them relax as she heals anything that was torn inside of them while they shifted. She frowned, but forced down the displeasure rising within her and replied, “You should know me. I’m Amy, your boss’s fiancée.” Friedrich’s secretary raised her eyebrows and replied coolly, “I’m sorry, miss. I’m only following protocol and orders. My boss did not inform me that his fiancée would be visiting. Could you please call him and let him know you’re here to see him?” Amy bit down on her lower lip. She felt frustrated, but she took a deep breath and whipped out her phone. Without hesitation, she made the call, but Friedrich didn't pick up. She called three times, but none of her calls were answered. Her face grew grim with frustration.

She asked, a bright smile on her face. “Who is Emry?” Isla asked calmly as she took her seat on one of the chair in the study. “My brother”, Amy answered, making her way over to her to sit beside her on another chair. “He is the youngest warrior to embark on a journey with the Alpha”, she said, the pride in her voice easy to hear. “Oh?” Isla said, obviously indulging her. “He sounds very brave”, she commented. Amy nodded. “He is”, she agreed.

He agreed to it happily cause now he could see the consequences of his actions. He could see what he had turned Amy into, like a robot with no feeling or emotions. But it was a good thing that Chris was present in her life. He was the reason she smiled and lived her life somewhat like a human. Unlike earlier, when she just focused on fighting and did not care how badly she was injured. “Ok darling, now go outside for some time.” Amy told Chris after a few minutes, her expressions were dead serious. Chris got off the chair and went outside; he knew that she was going to talk about the plan and did not want him to hear anything.

Amir asked irritatedly The healer kept on smiling as she replied Amir "It is a good sickness but I don't know if it'll gladden your heart since you're not interested now having a wife" the healer said "What does having a wife have to do with Amira's sickness?" Amir asked looking confused "You should not bother you pretty head your majesty for the maiden is with child" the healer replied Amir's creased forehead suddenly smoothened out and his cheeks expanded showing off his perfect dentition. He was happy, very happy.

“What did you find?” I didn’t waste time. “I found her. Lisa D’Amaris. And I don’t have good news to give about her.” That made him frown as he looked me in the eye. “She’s alive?” “Very much,” I said. “And she’s not exactly hiding.
