Is Amara’s catty reply. Haley rolls her eyes and places her hand on her hip. “I don’t know if I want to be friends again that badly. I mean, have you seen those things.” She gestures to my dainty feet. “It looks like you haven’t had a manicure in…ever.” His upper lip curls with disgust, which makes us all break out into gales of laughter. “I’ll have you know, ladies, my feet smell sweet and are as soft as rose petals.” Amara snorts in reply. “More like smell like sour cheese and are as rough as sandpaper. I don’t know how Rowan deals with them scraping against him at night.”

“I won’t let him replace you.” We kept walking, but then this awful smell hit me…rotten, like meat left out too long, mixed with wet earth and decay. My nose wrinkled. “Do you smell that?” I asked, sniffing the air. Liana sniffed too. “No, princess. Nothing.” I leaned closer to her…and the smell got stronger. Like it was coming from her direction. My heart stuttered. I awkwardly grabbed my belongings from her hands. “You know what? Go take a quick shower. I can find my way.”

She was here, she was all real and she was going to be mine. I leaned a little to touch her aligned toes. They were beautifully sculptured in descending order from the thumb to the pinky finger of her feet. I bent further to place a kiss on the middle of her right foot and ascended my lips as they kept striking with her smooth skin until they reached her knee, I sniffed her fragrance. She smelled like a divinely heaven-made angel only made for a broken sadist like me. Every time her sweet lilac smell entered my nostrils made me lose my mind even more.

The footsteps were silent, there's no heavy footsteps thumping on the ground anymore, but, the smells never left. The hot steam felt near to her left shoulder, as if that creature mocking her by staying in still. Stirring a mess in her head. By the realization of where it was, her tears drops on her cheeks.

Rose. It sounded. She smelled good. Nice. Fresh. Innocent. A scent I could never have. I raised my head and she stared at me. Her eyes, were ever so sweet. Lolchan and Ray finished up with my loads, I marched forward with my strong bolt having a mental at the tip. Such shoes were go for wolves who frequent the woods, looking for innocent wolves as a target. And well, this time around the target was not in the wood, but a pack. Haha.. As I walked into the cabin, a strange smell engulf my nose and no other person than Ray would cause that smell. Smell of dirty clothes like drags. Smells like cow dung. “ What is that Smell?” my deep voice made him shivered as if he had just seen a ghost, he knew the question was directed to him, but I didn’t say one more word before he ran to do the needful.

She moves forward and is pointing out details as she talks. What I am most curious about is how she saw what could barely be considered a partial footprint from ten feet away with only human senses. As I move forward to get a better look, I see she’s right, it’s a child’s footprint. She’s small, so the barely there indentation could be easily missed by anyone not trained. Getting our nose about an inch from the ground, I can pick up the girl’s scent. It is mixed with cedar and pine and something else earthy. “Did you teach them to change their scents as they travel?” I ask Kennedy, but Bennet and the rest of the team can hear as well.

Judging by how pungent it was, it wasn't coming from far away. My stomach grumbled and my eyes darted everywhere hoping to spot where the smell was coming from. In doing so I had managed to walk into a puddle. I shriek softly, feeling my sock now wet and cold from the dirty water. I pulled my feet out, shaking them softly in a feeble way of trying to get out some water. I managed to look like a complete idiot and got stares from the people that were passing by.
