She put on a smile again before she left. I observed her as she went to work. Her smile never once slipped. With such a charming smile, even the most irate of her customers could not help but be a little nicer to her. It was as if she moved with a halo that made everyone return her smile. Was this the power of the female lead? As expected, only evil people like Bella and I could be mean to someone with the protagonist’s buff. Others fell helplessly in love with such a gentle and sweet person.

She looked down at them and gave a toothy smirk. “Do not give me an Alpha-male attitude, come on!” She spurted and reached out to pick up the open ‘U-turn from Myths’ book, which still lay on the bed. She lifted the book to her face and slowly opened the pages with her well-manicured, slim fingers.

she said with a big smile looking at me, her white pearly teeth showing. "No, its a tiger, what animal Jade?" I said and asked her. "A tiger," she answered. I flipped to the next page, suddenly she got up and sat on my lap which gave me shock! I never expected this to happened. She can not get enough of the book view that she sat on my lap to have the booked right in front of her eyes as I was holding it in front me. Because she was on my lap, she take a hold onto the book too with her two hands. So now the booked was held by four hands. I smelled her hair as it was right infront of my face, its fragrant to my nosetril, and the feel of her hair in my face was smooth and feathery.

“Kael! Wait!” My jaw was tight as I turned slowly. She had that sugary smile that always seemed more like a mask than anything real. “You’re not mad at me, are you?” she asked. “Mad?” I repeated flatly. She giggled, tilting her head. “Come on. Don’t look at me like that. It was just a joke. Everyone laughed, right? That’s what makes book clubs fun sometimes.” “Fun?” I said, my voice dropping lower. I took a step toward her, and for the first time, the smile wavered on her face. “You call that fun?”

She seemed to be all confused. With the same expression, she took out a book and forwarded towards her table. As our eyes met, she again gave me a smile only to get myself smiling again. Her smile was really contagious. But when she turned to the book, her expression turned to be confused again. When I asked her, “Any problem?”, she pouted like a kid as she uttered, “I am stuck at a topic in Accounting.” My mind got uttering, “You got your chance, Ehan.”

Smith. Nicolas saw a stunning beautiful girl, standing with a book in her hands. She had high forehead, small chin, small nose, short and narrow jaws, high cheekbones, flawless fair skin and a perfect curvy figure. Her long wavy deep brown hair, cherry lips and two pair of wide sea green eyes made her, looking like no less than a celebrity. She was really a rare beauty. Nicolas immediately froze and was staring at her like she was the only one in the class.

Every time my eyes met his, the smile on his face seemed to grow bigger, till he was full on grinning. “Still can't find the page?” “Everything's still all mixed up. Give me a minute more.” “Righttt.” This time around, he chuckled and I closed the book. “You don't have to search anymore, I've been entertained enough.” “You're an asshole,” I tried to glare but I could not keep the smile off my face. “Your asshole at least.” My heart skipped a beat. The smile on my face fell and the jovial atmosphere in the room seemed to cease. I dropped the book I was reading and cleared my throat as I stood up.

"I mean, what have you been doing?" "Oh, right," my lips curled into a smile, "I've been, you know, training, working out, and all." She raised her eyebrows. "Not studying for the exams?" "I've been reading..." "Reading what?" "Books..." "You're terrible at lying," she says, her soft lips stretching into a smile. Casting a sideways look at her, I couldn't help but take in how beautiful she looked when she smiles. She had the type of smile that kind of extends to her eyes and then deep into her soul. Her smile was always genuine.

“How long are we talking? A dozen books? A hundred?” I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms. “Let’s just say it’s enough to last me a few weekends, maybe more.” Liam’s lips curled into a teasing smile. “You’re still a bookworm even after all these years,” he said, shaking his head slightly, as though it was some sort of amusing discovery. “Just because I love to read doesn’t make me a bookworm,” I protested not being able to help my own smile because it was hard not to smile when Liam was smiling. He had this contagious smile, the kind that could probably make even the Grinch crack a grin.

A pair of girls walked past us. One of them glanced at me. Then smiled. Actually smiled. Not fake. Not mocking. Just… smiled. I blinked in surprise. She kept walking. “What was that?” I asked. Lila looked over her shoulder. “What?” “That girl.” “What about her?” “She smiled at me.” Lila shrugged. “Maybe she was being nice.” I frowned. “People don’t just decide to be nice.” “They do.” “Since when?” “Since the captain of the football team publicly embarrassed every jerk who’s ever picked on you.”
