I can't breathe. A hidden platform beneath the stage slowly lifts her up, like a corpse rising from the dead. And when she sees me, she smiles. Shit. That smile. It’s not just any smile; it’s the kind that takes your breath away, leaving you frozen in place. Her lips curve upward in a way that feels both intimate and electrifying, like a secret only we share. It’s a smile that reaches her eyes, making them sparkle with a mischievous glint, as if she knows exactly what she’s doing to me.

Jacob walked behind me, his own eyes cast down, thinking about what lay beneath the mystery of my smile. Smiling gently, lips in a sweet curve, I walked alongside Jacob. My smile was the slow and deliberate kind, a slow smile spreading across my face like a sunrise sweeps across the sky. But Jacob had no idea why I smiled; the satisfaction and control I felt surged through my veins. I was glancing at that screen where I could see a cheerful kid, playing around. "Have you experienced losing the reason for your smile? If you'll ask me, I won't lie. Yes, I did. The reason for my smile was once gone. I thought that was the end but it was not and never will be. I rose again and looked for the things that would keep my heart alive. They are all smiling beautifully; I'm seeing Israel's bunny smile again, Dylan's eyes and lips combo smile, and of course… Eli's v-shape smile. Among the different tourist spots all over the world, I can't believe the true definition of beauty comes within their smiles.
