Taking a deep breath, Isioma smiled and said, “All right, it's fine. It's cool. No problem.”
“Thank you, Isioma—” a smile played at the edges of Idara's lips, “—for always looking out for me.”
“Nah, don't mention.” Isioma offered her a cool wink. “What are friends for?”
Idara simply chuckled at that, before saying, “You know, it's funny how Candice pretends to like us in public, though.”
