Williams paused and cracked his infamous smirk. "Sucking up if she needs to." He laughed, but we both knew it wasn't a joke.

I threatened with a smirk. "Oh, won’t it?" He responded with a smug grin that only grated on my nerves. The bastard was pulling a fast one on me intentionally. And as smart as I am to ignore whatever games he was playing, I don’t—just because my pride and ego were bigger than anything else.

Jameson stated with a smile. Diego lips slowly curled up to a dark smirk.

“Totally legitimate. 100 percent real.” He smirked. Not the scary kind of smirk, but the “I already know and I’m amused” kind. I resisted the urge to smack him. Just a tiny smack. Maybe on his shoulder. Or head. Or… okay, let’s not go there. “Vigor and potential,” he repeated, and I could see the corners of his lips twitch, trying not to betray some smug amusement. I hated him a little for that. No. I hated him a lot.

My smirk widens. * * *

Mark smirks when he hears this. "Good."

Seb smirks, “Try me, I’m feeling… experimental right now.” A slow wicked grin spreads across her face.

If he wanted to play dirty I was going to show him that I could too. He rolled his bottom lip between his teeth sinking his teeth into it. A smug, cynical smirk spread across his mangled up face. I cocked my head up at him, "Your face looks better than it did before. You should thank my hero!" I sarcastically beamed mustering one helluva fake smile.

He smirks slightly. "I’d like to apply."

His lips curled into a smirk, sharp and familiar. “Well, looks like I came at the perfect time.”
