His breathing slow and steady. His finger rested lightly on the trigger. For ten minutes he had waited. Watching. Calculating. Trisha. Target confirmed. Distance: seventy meters. Wind: minimal. One shot. Clean and silent. His finger slowly tightened. The crosshair centered perfectly on the red spot over her heart. Then— Movement. A small figure entered the scope. The sniper frowned. “A child?” The boy stepped closer to Trisha. Blocking the shot. The sniper’s finger paused. He adjusted the scope slightly.

The door opened as the team entered. Violet (known as the sharpest shooter/sniper), Viper (the hacker with baby face), Bull (admires flowers and nature, a combat killer), Chameleon (good at disguising and camouflaging like a ghost, also he uses Chinese technique to kill known as pressure-point or death touch). The team frowned at the couple who were busy ignoring the world. They started taking their boxes of pizza, chicken, and fries while glaring at the couple. "Here," Harvey pointed the fries to her mouth. MJ noticed how the crew acted and she didn't want to ruin their little birthday party for him. So, she took the fries with her hand.

Each one stacked neatly atop the other, marked only by numbers and cryptic symbols. "What the hell is this place?" Vargo muttered, almost reverently. I moved to the nearest crate, my curiosity overriding my hesitation. The old wood creaked as I pried the lid open. Nestled within, surrounded by foam and cloth, was a sniper rifle unlike anything I'd ever seen. Sleek. Matte black. Modified beyond standard military specs. I reached in and lifted it carefully. Its weight was solid. Cold. Deadly. "The Viper-X," I read the label etched along the barrel.

"Tell me more, my friend. Be explicit." A determined glimmer shone in Trevor's eyes as he continued, "Within Jekyll's laboratory, there are specialized snipers. They are armed not with bullets, but with chemical needles. These needles contain a powerful tranquilizer called 'Zipit,' designed to tame wild animals like gorillas and lions. With these snipers, we can bring the werewolves to their knees, rendering them docile and under our control."

We aren’t many, we have no chance to take all of them down. I watch the Black Tiger lie down on the ground. This time he’s holding a sniper as he wants to take everyone down. He aims, checks the wind speed and the distance and adjusts accordingly. Then he pulls the trigger. I run toward the people who are still around the zone and help them leave safely. “Leave! Run!” I scream and push them down an empty street. “Run while you still can!”

Crunch. The Rogue was slammed into the dirt as if a giant hand had swatted a fly. I heard the sickening, wet snap of bones collapsing under their own weight. Thwip. Crack. High above, perched on a rusted crane, Wolfy fired. His sniper rifle didn't use bullets; it used condensed ice shards. A Rogue trying to flank Viggo suddenly stiffened. A glittering spike drove through his shoulder, freezing the muscle instantly. The flesh turned grey. Dead.

A dead man can't hurt me and a mere bunch of flowers is nothing to make a fuss about. There is a small envelope tucked discreetly in the bouquet. I pluck it out. It is black with gold letters spelling out the words “my condolences” on it. I rip the envelope open and there is a picture in it. I turn the picture over to look at it and my body goes cold. In the picture, I am standing at Howard’s grave and placing a bouquet on it. It is taken through the reticle of a sniper. Aimed directly at my forehead.

The sniper was the most important part of their trap because the bullet they were going to use was a Silver Rush bullet. It could easily penetrate a martial artist's protective energy, which meant that no matter how skilled Sebastian was, he wouldn't be able to escape death. But now, with the sniper dead, it meant that the deadly trap had been completely unraveled by Sebastian. "There are too many impossibilities in this world. You've overestimated yourselves and underestimated your opponent. That's why men from the Slaughter Gods are all just talk." Sebastian glanced at the gunman on the ground and asked coldly once again, "Now tell me, who ordered you to kidnap Whitney? Jace?"

This time, the new smoke hoops looked deadlier than the last puff. “Shit!” The sniper cussed as the enraged boss monster enveloped the area in a white smokescreen. It was a sniper’s worst nightmare. With her only ally incapacitated, Sasha wished they didn’t split up with the Death Princess. Loading her gun but unable to find her target, Sasha fired shots in every direction.

They were regular bullets with no intention of damaging beyond delaying people. I look at my snipers. They were good at what they did. Sometimes too good. “What did you do?” I ask them both. Looking at one another they smirk. “We had a new bullet we wanted to test out, boss,” they say to me. Looking at them I wait for their reply. “We added wolfsbane to silver bullets with a special infection added for good measure,” they say proudly.
