I barely heard the woman's voice; holding the door knob I took a deep breath before entering the room. "Mrs Danty?" I asked, standing awkwardly at the doorway of her office. "Yes, come in. Mrs Roberts I presume?" I nodded. "Take a seat." I gave her a small smile before sitting down on the comfortable sofa. "Let's start with the reason you came here." She brought out a small clipboard and pen and waited for me to begin speaking. I looked up at the woman in front of me, she was skinny and very beautiful, her almond coloured eyes appeared almost cat like in the sun and her long brunette hair flowed elegantly to her chest. She couldn't be more than thirty five.

the blonde said. The owner flared up. “You mean that obnoxious fool. Oh, he’s so stupid.” The blonde choked on her coffee. “What do you mean, Ms. Morgan? How did he offend you?” “I don’t want to talk about it.” “Well I think he’s really attractive really and you probably blushed when you saw him. You get flushed quickly you know,” the blonde teased and waggled her eyebrows. “Sandra!” Morgan busted. “Stop teasing me, ok. He was rude and I hated him because of that. I mean, I hated him at first sight.”

the Dj suddenly changed the beat to slow and tense music. I don't know if it is the music or not but I can see the sudden change in his expression. it shifts from a goofy one to a serious one. It looks more intense than it has ever been. he begins to stare down at me and I wonder why the change in demeanour. I don't know why but I begin to feel butterflies in my stomach. I don't know why I suddenly begin to notice how attractive he is. not that I didn't notice earlier but his lips begin to look sexier as he stares down at me.

He had a smug, arrogant smirk fixed on his face, the kind of expression common in wealthy men who believed the entire world belonged to them just because of their last name. His sister, Vivienne, looked equally snobbish, her eyes constantly scanning the room as if everything around her was beneath her standard. As the waiters poured the expensive red wine, Sebastian cut a piece of his steak and looked up at me. "Your corporate growth over the last two years has been very impressive, Mr. Vane," Sebastian said, his tone casual but his eyes remaining completely fixed on my face. "Vane Industries is becoming a monster in this region. It must take a lot of work to protect an empire like that."

I felt that someone was watching me. I turned to see and discovered that several girls were watching Ezra askance from their tables. A small group of friends began to whisper things to each other, then they laughed scandalously. If it was to attract attention they did not succeed because Ezra seemed not to notice what was happening around him? Did this new boy have super special power? How did he get the attention of all women? Ezra looked out the window and watched the sunset.

“He’s really rude,” Anthon shook his head as they watched the car drift away. “Where's the manners? Rich people are really snobs,” he grinned. Sabrina curled her fingers. Her ears perked up but she kept her eyes and waited until Gabriel's car disappeared from her sight. ‘Rude?’ Sabrina pressed her lips tightly. Gabriel was nothing close to rude. If there was a person fit to that description it was Anthon. He was actually even worse to be honest.

A band of pale skinned creatures with visible fangs and lips even redder than blood played in a corner and there was a waiter; it was like the VIP area. "Halsey, I've brought our bride." Zenobia approached a group of three boys and two girls that sat in the center and apparently, had the best booth in the room. The only blond amongst them stood up and welcomed us by offering Zenobia a drink. He had peculiar forest green eyes, one was unusually darker than the other but they were beautiful and eye-catching. Flattering without being seductive. Like I had already said, the last thing I wanted was to give this man the wrong idea. I knew it was practically impossible, but I didn’t want to give sexual favors in return for this money. I was not desperate like that. Maybe I would consider it in a future time, but definitely not now. After pulling out the shoes I was going to wear—low heels—I went to the bathroom. Shower time was always scared to me, but I found myself rushing it. I already knew I was going to be late but I didn’t want to reach even later than I was originally supposed to.
