Finally, exhaustion overtook her and she drifted off into a troubled sleep. Noelle drifted off, far into the dream land, In the dream world, everything was white and snow-covered. It was like a never-ending winter wonderland, with snowflakes gently falling from the sky. The ground was blanketed in a thick layer of snow, and the trees were all frosted over, glistening in the sunlight. Despite the cold, there was a sense of peace and serenity in the air, as if the snow had brought with it a calming energy. It was as if Noelle had stepped into a world of purity and innocence, a place where nothing bad could ever happen. She stood there, taking in the beauty around her, feeling as if she could s

Looking at 'Snow', my only companion lying on the sofa, I whispered, "I'm coming, baby; I have to see what he wants today." I adjusted my dress and hurried downstairs. These Quebec nights are bone-chillingly cold, but inside me, heat flowed like lava. As I pushed the heavy door of the large apartment building and stepped onto the pavement, a white blanket of snowfall had covered the streets. The crunching sound of ice breaking under my thin heels created a strange sense of panic. The dark tint of the limousine window slid down slowly. Lucas's grey eyes looked as sharp as swords even in the dark. He didn't say a word; he just opened the rear seat door with one hand.

she whispered. Kieran joined her, placing another log onto the crackling fireplace before walking to her side. "What is?" She smiled without taking her eyes from the window. "The first snowfall." As though the sky had heard her words, a single white snowflake floated gently past the glass. Then another. Within moments, hundreds followed. Soft flakes drifted silently from the heavens, covering the palace gardens in a blanket of white. Nova's face lit up like a child seeing snow for the very first time.

I sold myself to him. Yet, after the deed, he went back on his words. He refused to pay and snapped, "You're just a widow with a dead husband! This is what you're worth! You either take it or leave it!" I ended up in a brawl with him, but due to the disparity of strengths, he killed me with a punch to my head. The thick snow buried all the evidence of his crime. I even ended up on his plate. Tina died in the cold due to hunger before I could return to her.

My name was Nicole Smith, and I had just celebrated my 18th birthday. Growing up with strict parents, I have never ventured into the world of dating. While my peers had cycled through boyfriends, I had yet to experience the simple touch of a man's hand. On Christmas Eve, my bestie, Yara Charlton, came to me, her cheeks rosy with a mix of excitement and nerves: "Nicole... Can you do me a solid and come over on Christmas Eve? I need a wingwoman to help me sneak some time with Keith."

Her vision was turning red. “Help…” she gasped, barely louder than a whisper. Dylan glanced at her once, his expression unreadable, then slammed the door and drove off into the snow. Zoe lay trembling on the ground, tears streaming down her face as the car vanished into the blizzard. And then—everything went black. * In her haze, Zoe began to dream. She was fifteen again. It was the day of her parents’ funeral. The snow was heavy, blanketing the world in white. She had cried so hard in front of their portraits that she nearly passed out.

Victoria’s wolf, dusky brown and nimble, moved beside Calix’s steel-colored form, all muscle and silence. They gathered their packs in their jaws and braved the snow. At first, the wind stung. The snow whipped into their fur, cold and blinding, coating their lashes and muzzles. But they pressed on. The forest loomed ahead, tall pines and ancient oaks, their snow-laden branches arching over the path like guardians. As they entered the woods, the storm dulled. The trees muffled the wind, and though the snow still fell, it wasn’t blinding. It became… beautiful. A world of white and grey, quiet and vast.

{TW: Family violence} The balcony overlooked the sprawling woods, now blanketed in a thick layer of pristine snow. The winter scene was breathtakingly beautiful, with the snow-covered treetops stretching out as far as the eye could see. The silence was profound, broken only by the occasional rustle of a bird or the distant creak of a tree swaying gently in the wind.

Once again, I jerk awake from dreams of being attacked. Only this time in my dream, Snow wasn’t anywhere around, it was just me facing off against the Mean Ones and some other new ones who have joined their group. The first thing I notice when I come awake is that Snow isn’t here. I start to get up, needing to make sure he's okay, but I find myself pinned down by an arm; a warm, large, masculine arm. My eyes widen and my heart rate speeds up. I turn and look behind me seeing a man, a very naked man, sleeping with his body curled up around mine. He has the same wintery scent that Snow has and as I watch, his eyes open, flashing like opals before settling on a bluish color.
