“It’s all I want to be. In fact, I don’t even want to be a psychic. I just want to write books and enjoy life.” “Then, we’ll do our best to make sure things stay that way,” Noah said with conviction. “Oscar and Kenzie will focus on finding and tagging the lone wolves with record speed and I’ll try to stop by while they’re gone to check on you. Snow will be your constant companion.” I looked at Snow and shuddered. “Give him a chance,” Kenzie softly said. “I’ll bet that, once you move past the fact that he’s a wolf that lives in the wild, he’s really sweet.”

“Playing games with me now?” Snow didn’t respond. She picked up a second glass and poured it slowly down his neck, letting the wine trail across his chest, stomach, and lower—stopping just at the edge of his waistline. Then came the ice. Ray jolted violently. The sudden blast of cold hit there, the sting so sharp he gasped. Snow tilted her head in mock sympathy. “What you really need right now is a woman, right?” She smiled. “But I wouldn’t do that with a dog.”

CHAPTER 16 ****AURELIO'S VILLA**** Snow was looking outside the window enjoying the fresh evening breeze that was blowing cold whispers through the trees. It was so cool, caressing softly on snow's skin like a gentle sigh. Her hair was flowing like an enchanting queen, according to the rhythm of the breeze. The soft, faint scent of flowers and earth it carried filled Snow's petals with vents like an island filled with blossoms. Snow had her eyes closed, her palms spread apart as she let the peaceful breeze flow through her system. The soft knock on the door brought her out of her amazing wonderland.

The picture then started fogging up with mixes of gray and black, having him cough even more hard he whipped a fan out blowing it away, he sat back down coughing a couple more putting the pipe straight in. “What is— the password?” He took out the pipe saying it slow and steady, extending the “s” in password looked down at Snow continuing knitting the sweater. “Strange Magic is a Dark Art.” Snow spoke loud and proud, putting her hands together she smiled waiting for him to take action. He rolled his eyes opening the frame, she pushed the picture to the side struggling to get to open. Zander gripped the frail frame and helped pull out the door for us all to go inside.

"You haven't seen much of the world, have you?" Selena's face turned cold. "Mind your own business!" With that, she turned and walked away. Aaron didn't make things difficult for her and instead opened another WhatsApp chat window. Aaron texted, "Hey Snow, with a name like that, do you like snow?" After leaving the room, Selena received a message on her secondary account. She glanced at it, smirked, and headed into the kitchen, ready to dig deeper. Snow replied, "Yes, Aaron. I'm from the south, and my biggest dream since childhood has been to see snow and build a snowman. It would be so romantic. And if I could do it with you, it would be even better!"

When I woke up I was in a hospital room with a nurse by my bed, taking vitals. “ What happened?” “ You passed out. You were in such a state of shock that your body shut down. Ma'am, did you know you had a heart condition? It's slow, but any more shock you could have died.” “ The doctor will be in shortly to go over some things with you, Ms. Snow. I think it's time to rethink the remainder of your life.” The remainder of my life? Am I dying?.

"He made those clay dolls for me—one for him and one for me. We'd never be apart." She slowly closed her eyes, and blood stained my shirt collar. "Nathalie... if only I weren't such a fool." Her eyes shut, and her hands slipped from my neck. Then, there was only silence. All that was left in the howling snowstorm was the sound of my crying. … After the snowstorm passed, I made my way down the mountain alone, rushing straight to Riverton City. I got there just as Chester's engagement party was starting. Right when Chester was about to slip the ring on Rose's finger, I burst into the room. "Chester, Janet has passed away, and she sent me to give you a wedding present!"

I also turn my face around to see Ty scolding Aaron while Aaron just smiles at him with a kind of satisfaction. Asher shakes his head and averts his attention back to me. I smile at him and his lips threaten to slightly curl upward. I giggle at him, swinging our hand, and soon he is smiling, shaking his head. "Okay C'mon now, snow. Let's go eat something," I say laughing. "Snow?" He asks. "Yeah, your new nickname. How is it?" I ask resuming our walking. He laughs slightly. "Short for snow prince?" "Yeah," I nod.

"Try not to bring your entire wardrobe because space is limited." "Try not to bring your entire contact list," I called after him. "Oh wait, they're already published in the tabloids anyway." The elevator doors closed on his furious expression and I stood there in the empty hallway feeling my heart beat increase and I hope my BP doesn't get worse. My phone buzzed with a text from the lawyer's office about travel arrangements and I deleted it without reading the whole thing because I already knew what it would say. Two days and then I'd be stuck in a house with Adrian Ashford for an entire Christmas season.

he had banned the annual mate hunt where single females were chased down through the woods by groups of males until they found their mates. She had changed all of that, now the females could decide if they wanted to be mated or not and if they chose not to it could be postponed for a year or two. Alexis was secretly pleased that most of the females still wanted to be mated and have pups but some of them did want to go to university or out to work and he now had two female Gammas as well as Gideon and Luke. After receiving her certificate she came back to their seats and hugged them both kissing her passionately until she giggled and told him to save it for later when they had put Zaydon to
