The Arrogant Love

The Arrogant Love

Sofia said, clearly prioritizing a patron over a part-time employee like Poppy. “Ms. Jennings!” “Apologize to the gentleman right now, Poppy,” Sofia commanded, her tone dropping into a serious, no-nonsense growl. “No!” Poppy snapped. She turned on her heel, marched back to the counter, grabbed her shoulder bag, and stormed out through the back of the shop. But she hadn't made it even three steps past the rear exit before she was jerked back, slamming into the building's exterior wall. “Mr. Thomas! Why are you following me?!” Poppy cried out. She was pinned against the back wall, unable to move. He had one of her hands clamped in his grip, while his other arm was braced against the wa

Outside World

Outside World

“Who said I’m taking it as mine? Ireregalo ko siya sa isang tao.” The guy laughed in return. “Hay nako. Hindi ko na kailanga’ng hulaan kung sino.” He shook his head. “But I don’t think your lifetime crush will accept this. At higit sa lahat,” he breathed out, “aanhin ni Devon ang kabayo?” Now, these strangers are planning to take me as a present for someone who is an equal stranger. These lower beings . . . ! Once I turn into my real self, I will devour them with no fail!

Bitter Sugar Daddy

Bitter Sugar Daddy

Guess he needs a snack before his dinner date with who-knows-who. He's talking to the phone the entire time, I wonder if he always work on Sundays. Or until midnight, since it's almost 6 now. I bring two of the special jumbo hot dogs since the guy keeps on pitching me how special is the special. It's only 50 cents difference so sure, why not. "Oggy," I call him once I approach him. He's still on the phone, standing in a corner a few feet away from the hot dog stand, perhaps so I won't be able to hear him.

The story is great! Sometimes I wanted to slap them to make them see reason and stop hurting each other. And is possible to see the growing of the female lead from an inmature girl to a mature grown up woman.

I am just shocked why is this book so under rated! It is just good, though the toxic relationship part was a little draggy, felt that both main leads were a little too petty but still glad all went well.

Taming the Billionaire's Son

Taming the Billionaire's Son

I whisper out when he abruptly pulls away clearing his throat as I pick up the caramel bottlehead over to the popcorn bowl and drizzle the popcorn with it. I do not dare to look at Aiden in between scared to meet his gaze as He grabs the drinks from the fridge and we head back to join the others. 'Finally, "groans an impatient Roly as we all laugh Aiden and I set down the drinks and popcorn on the table. I take my bowl of popcorn and sit next to Aiden, Tyler and Roly on the opposite sofa and finally Jer and Nat on the other. The popcorn in my bowl seems to be screaming at me to eat it as I begin to pop it into my mouth. They are so delicious as I grab some more to eat but Aiden is quick to t

CAGED IN HIS OBSESSION

CAGED IN HIS OBSESSION

And then—there she was. Sophia stepped outside, wearing a pale cream apron dusted with flour. Her hair was tied up in a loose bun, stray strands brushing her cheeks as she exhaled into the cold air. In her hands was a paper bag, the top folded neatly. She walked over to the green dumpster beside the shop, dropped the bag inside without a glance, and turned to go back in. It was nothing unusual—just a worker tossing out scraps—but Liam’s eyes narrowed like she’d just given away a piece of herself.

I rushed forward and hugged her. “Grandma, I don't want caramel candies anymore. I’m not going back with them. I just want to stay with you. Let’s go home together, okay?” She looked at me, the confusion in her eyes slowly melting into joy. “Okay! Eva, don’t go with those outsiders. We’ll go home! I can still help you through school.” She was still lost in her mind, but I gently coaxed her into coming with me to a nearby hospital for a check-up.

Sugar Daddy

Sugar Daddy

Then we headed to the cottage. I was blushing deep red when the clerk saw our boxes of condoms. But the older woman smiles sweetly at me and say her words, as she gave him our groceries. "Your man is smart, safety first kids, now go and have fun." Alex was laughing and thanking her for her assistance, I was safely snuggled in his embrace, as he kissed the top of my head, and walked out of the store. "I'm liking this town, Addie." He chuckled, as we walk into the car and put our groceries in.

Savannah: The Pack's Outcast

Savannah: The Pack's Outcast

Orange flames caught her attention and swiftly, Savannah ran towards it, almost shoving her hands into the fireplace to let those flames lick at her skin, warm her inside out. ``` Savannah’s stomach had turned traitor twice other dinner. Twice. Every bite of her favorite roasted potatoes left her gagging, bile rising in her throat like a ghost tide. The old woman, Mama Willow just watched, eyes crinkled at the corners in concern as she stroked Savannah’s back with a calloused hand. “Must be something you ate in the woods, dear.” She’d soothed, but the worry in her voice was a stark contrast against the gentle movement of her touch.

Dirty Shifts

Dirty Shifts

Emma tossed me a tiny black singlet dress thin as hell, my nipples already poking through the fabric. I dropped the towel, no hesitation, and pulled it on. No bra. No panties. Just skin, curves, and bad intentions. We crashed in the living room with cold beers. Legs spread wide, no fucks given, air thick with smoke and that heavy promise of money, power, and whatever came after. “Here’s the raw fucking deal,” Sophia said, her voice dropping low and cold. “Normal jobs? Forget it. Your rap sheet screams attempted murder, and that piece-of-shit Evan John is still crying on every screen like some innocent victim.

AGAINST THE TIDES

AGAINST THE TIDES

I searched a couple of tens on the internet for any information regarding Sophia and I couldn't find anything other than the fact that she is the prodigal daughter of a certain wealthy businessman. "Typical" I murmured the words out. She was certainly one of those displaced humans looking for a place to nest and reap from where they didn't show. But she has failed this time. I lifted the glass of chilled yogurt I had sitting beside me to my lip and parted it open with the glass. I took little sips at first but the chilling feeling I got on my lip at the first two sips made me gulp down the rest of the yogurt in the glass into my stomach. I was thirsty and loved how the ice burnt my esophagus
