The Rejected Alpha Queen

The Rejected Alpha Queen

___ Selene’s POV The dim candlelight flickered against the old parchment as Selene traced her fingers over the delicate pages of the book Ronan’s mother had given her. The scent of aged paper filled the air, mingling with the subtle hint of burning wax. She had spent hours pouring over the text, meticulously taking notes on anything that seemed remotely useful. The book contained knowledge lost to time, secrets about the origins of their kind, forgotten magic, and hidden weaknesses that could turn the tide of war.

The Crimson Letter

The Crimson Letter

Theo reached for her hand, not possessively, just to steady it. “Then we don’t stop,” he said. “Not until we find the truth.” She nodded. The house groaned faintly above them. Sloane turned back to the book, but it had already begun to fade. The pencil marks blurred. The page turned yellow around the edges. The words dissolved as if they’d never existed. She looked at Theo. “I think we’re being timed.”

The Moment of No Return

The Moment of No Return

"How did it come to this? Brian, James, my boys… Don't go, don't leave me all alone." She whispered to no one, her usual concern for appearances gone, her hair wild, looking every bit the madwoman. The brotherly betrayal had hit her hard. I was not about to offer comfort. James would face the music, and his mother... I could not forgive her, but I would not lift a finger against her either. She had already been handed the harshest sentence, after all. Dawn's light began to climb. I narrowed my eyes against the glow. It was time to start the hunt for my own, for the real life that was out there waiting for me.

The Heartless Hybrid Queen

The Heartless Hybrid Queen

“I mean, I’ll help take down Cassandra… I want to kill her, but I don’t want to lead a coven.” Solana opens her mouth, but Soleil places a hand on her arm, giving her a pointed look, and she takes a bite of a pastry instead. The rest of the meal is a little awkward but still pleasant; we move on to discuss other things like Samael and I coming back here for a vacation, and how pretty the Ember Field is. Before long it’s time to leave, and I’m hugging Solana goodbye, with promises to come back soon. Soleil leads us to an entrance hall where our group awaits, she hugs me tightly, and whispers, “do what you need to do, but please be careful.” Dimitri pulls her in for a lingering kiss, then she

Curse of the Wolves

Curse of the Wolves

A burst of light flooded my vision, followed by a wave of heat that made the burns along my body cry out in pain. I stumbled back towards the edge of the courtyard where the crisscrossing streets began, when Solana appeared. She was as horrifying as ever, a grin too wide for her face tugging at her lips. In her hand was her staff, sparking as she tapped it against the ground. Her eyes swept over the statue of herself. They danced with humor, though I wasn’t sure why. “What a fitting place for you to die.” As she thrust it forward, a beam of concentrated sunlight shot out from the top of her staff. Time seemed to slow as it carved a path straight through the air. I knew in my gut that it woul

Absolutely love this book, couldn't put it down. I've honestly read it more than once haha. Any chance I can buy it in paperback? This is a great book, give it a chance you won't be disappointed. Love the characters, love the book, love it!

I love this story so much that I kept reading, not realizing it was already four in the morning, and I had to wake up to take my kids to school at 7. every story by this author is beautifully written and addictive, but I love the humor and the strong female character in this story the most.

Angels of the Burning Sun

Angels of the Burning Sun

Emilia remained silent while sitting beside the fire. After a long pause, Ken finally gathered the courage to break the silence. His voice was tinged with a mixture of regret and concern as he uttered his next words. "Look, I am sorry. I know I have no right to judge you, but I just can't forget how you abandoned a teammate during the entrance exam. I simply can't comprehend that selfish act of yours. I mean, if you're here in the Angels of the Burning Suns, doesn't that mean you should be dedicated to saving others?"

Stolen Moments

Stolen Moments

He quickly cleared his throat. “I am in the bathroom.” The other person was about to open when they heard his voice. “Sorry sir I didn’t know it was occupied.” It was one of the junior workers and his voice was shaking from fear. I was relieved my momentum was distu…….. I didn’t finish that as his finger went deep inside. He was not even scared we were almost caught. “How are you calm?” “They are called stolen moments for this reason. The adrenaline, the zeal and anticipation should feel like this.”

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

It happens on a Tuesday. The kind of Tuesday that starts like any other — coffee, croissants, Celeste reading the news on her tablet while Mireille argues with Hana about security protocols. Ordinary. Almost boring. The kind of morning I used to take for granted before I learned that peace is just the silence between disasters. I'm in the office — Celeste's office, though she's been using it less since the resignation — looking for a book she mentioned. Something about resilience. Something about rebuilding. She said it helped her through the early years, before Oracle, before everything.

Tempted By My Sister's Boyfriend

Tempted By My Sister's Boyfriend

It was Saturday morning, and the dorm room already smelled like caramel latte that Sloane had brought in for both of us. Soft breeze entered the room through the window that was slightly cracked open. After Italy, we weren’t in the mood to continue pretending we were carefree girls on a break because the first week had taken more from us than it gave. It stole the sparkle from our eyes. “I swear, this guy’s face is what sends me,” Sloane said through a laugh, tilting her laptop screen in my direction. “Look at how he reacts when his mom walks in!”
