Lewis sat behind the desk, one part of him focused on the book in his hand. The other part was far away from his father's mini library in which he sat.
The book he was reading was on medical surgeries. And frankly, he didn't find it boring despite the complicated terminologies that basically made up half of it.
He'd walked in to have some peace and quiet after last night. But somehow, his mind hadn't left that rooftop.
He'd made Solene smile for the first time since they reconnected. And though she'd tried to force it back, he'd seen it—subtle, but it was there.
