Someone Is Waiting For You Novels & Stories

She raised her head. “I would call you after the person I’m waiting for arrives” she smiled at the waitress. After thirty minutes of waiting, the person she was waiting for finally arrived. She saw the arrogant look that creased his face as he spot her. She gulped down her spit, staring blankly at the man that was walking towards her. He was putting on a black office suit and a white inner shirt. He was dainty and the arrogant look on his face made him look hot. Eddie was sure everyone diverted their attention to him. She could only wish for the ground to swallow her as he walked towards her.

She took another sip of her drink, gently swinging her crossed leg as she waited. A minute later, the waiter returned with the glass of water. He placed it on the table. But instead of leaving, he bent down slightly. "Ma'am..." he said quietly. "Someone would like to see you." Mia slowly lowered her glass. "...Me?" The waiter nodded. "Yes, ma'am." Her brows knitted together. She instinctively looked in the direction he'd indicated, but no one seemed to be looking back at her. "I don't see anyone." "He's waiting on the other side of the room."

he asked seriously. "No Sir, I'm just going to buy something." "Okay, just go and I'll just park in front and wait for you." I am about to fall on my seat when I hear it. Who am I for him to wait?

Windows of the room are opened and fresh air is coming inside after waving to the plants on the balcony. A woman is standing at the door watching the person with sad eyes. Her hands are crossed over her chest. She has been standing here for half an hour in hope that the person will acknowledge her presence. However, that never happened. When she watched enough of her endurance she chose to go inside the room.

I just hoped he had a nice surprise for me because it was a special day for me and I wanted to enjoy it to the fullest. I waited and waited for me, and he did not show up. I tried calling him on the phone, and it went straight to voice mail. It was strange. People came and left, leaving me sitting in the restaurant like a mad person. “Madam, we are about to close. Is the person you are waiting for still coming?” The waiter who was serving me asks me.

She walked away, and I leaned back in my seat, looking around the room, scanning the faces and the bodies moving on the dance floor. There was still no sign of Adrian or Zara, but I knew they would show up. It was only a matter of time. My phone buzzed, and I pulled it out to check. Friend: Running late. Give me thirty minutes. I placed my phone back down without replying to the text and took a slow sip from the glass when the waitress brought it back, the whisky burning smoothly down my throat. Thirty minutes. Good. There was enough time to watch the door and wait for them to arrive, and enough time to decide how I wanted to handle what was coming.

Levi noticed and stopped, turning back to wait for her. Her face flushed even more. She lowered her head and jogged to close the distance. Just as they neared the apartment, Maude's phone buzzed. Orson had texted from another number. "Today's the last day of the two weeks. I'll be waiting for you to come back." Maude blocked his number once more and tucked her phone away. Before long, they reached the apartment. Levi turned to face her. "Goodnight, Maude." As she reached for the door, she felt his eyes on her, just like every night before.

"Thank you...'' I sent the guard a small smile, and he smiled back, throwing me an apologetic look before he walked away. I sat down next to a man in a black suit who appeared to be waiting for his interview. He had the air of someone respectable, perhaps already holding a high position in a company. Next to him was a woman who was engrossed in scrolling through her phone. Leaning back against the couch, I let out an exhausted sigh. I knew I should wait for Enzo to appear in the lobby, but the question remained: how long would that wait be? After waiting for a few minutes, the man seated beside me stood up as he noticed a familiar old man coming out of the elevator.

Of course, it must look strange to the staff—a young woman sitting alone with nothing but a glass of ice water for nearly an hour now, taking up a table on a Friday night when there was a line of people waiting to be seated. Shooting the waiter an apologetic grimace, I quickly shook my head. “Oh! No, I… I’m just waiting for someone,” I stammered out. “He should be here any minute.” The waiter’s brows lifted slightly, almost in a disbelieving manner, but he only nodded. “Very well. But I’ll have to ask you to place an order or free up this table within the next fifteen minutes or so. We do have other guests waiting.”

Colene: "I'm here. Where are you?" HY: "I'm not there yet. Please wait for me for a while." Colene: "Alright." Colene told Gabriella irritably as she sent that message, "Fuck! He's later than me!" In a nearby corner, a tall man lounged in a booth. He was sipping on his wine in boredom. He appeared to be waiting for someone as he would glance at the entrance from time to time. He was handsome and wore gold-rimmed glasses. He exuded an elegant and refreshing vibe. People were drawn to him.
