Someone Is Waiting For You 소설 & 이야기

"Mr. Johnson is waiting for you in the last suit of this floor. That side." One of the waiters came to me. I was surprised to be honest.

The beaming light from the restaurants was enough to make you calm as the bulbs kept blinking the rainbow colors ROYGBIV, and soft music in the background. The waiter came dressed in black trousers with a white shirt and black shoes. I told him I would be waiting for someone, and once the person comes, I will order. I kept staring at my phone as if a miracle would happen. My home blinked indicating a message from Phil. I smiled as I looked at it. He will be here in the next 10 minutes. I busied myself going through my W******p messages with Chris who told me to calm down and converse as if he never told me the true identity of Phil.

“Umm, I am actually waiting for someone. Can I wait a little bit longer and then I'll have to either leave or just buy something if he still does show up?” “Well absolutely, mam. You can do just that. I'll be right around the corner if you need me.” He said and walked away. I sighed deeply, there wasn't much I could think of. It was either Luca is on his way or something had gone wrong. “Wait, what if something is wrong and I'm just sitting here and waiting for him?”I asked myself. I rose on my seat, my eyes met with the waiter's yet again. I faked a smile and nodded slightly, hoping he would understand that I was leaving.

"The man act crazy sometimes, but it's okay," He said as he picked a seat and sat down placing his bag on the next, there were only a few people around, as it was still early, just a few minutes past six, he expected the place to be filled soon as it was Friday which means party day, the waiter came to him and he smiled at her. "I am waiting for someone and will order once he gets here,"

Like she was waiting for me to confess something or run off crying. But I didn’t. I wasn’t planning on being anyone’s target. I just wanted to spend the rest of my life as open as possible. Still, the whispering around me hadn’t stopped. I could feel the weight of curious eyes, the tension in the air… and maybe even a hint of jealousy. “Hey.” A guy called, his hands pointed towards me. “Yeah?” I answered. “Someone's out here waiting for you.” He dropped the word like a bomb.

"How long do I have to wait for him? Why am I even wasting my time?" Almost kneeling down, Jean prepared to satisfy her every whim. Holding out a glass of fresh apple juice and at the same time a cup of coffee, he said, "Wait a little longer. I assure you, he'll be here soon." "How will he come if he has a wedding today?" an older man asked who kept smoking in the corner of the room. "He'll come as soon as he's finished." "Finished? What is this? What are you talking about? Are you kidding me?" the woman asked, hitting the floor with her heel.

Counted one to three before I clicked on the answer button. “Baby? I am waiting for you.” I don’t know what I expected him to say when I took the call but what he said was certainly not it. “Waiting for me where?” I questioned him. The girls looked at me in disapproval. “Outside the resort.” “You want me to walk for twenty minutes just to get to you? I won’t do that.” I told him firmly. “No, I don’t mean that. I am waiting not far away, it won’t take up to three minutes.”

A customer leaned against the counter as he waited for his order. "Buonasera," the counter guy said. I responded with a rehearsed smile and waited for him to be done attending to the other person. "I'd like to see the manager. Please," I said when he was done. He frowned a bit. I couldn't blame him. "He isn't available?" After a pause, he said, "Wait here." I crossed my fingers, hoping I succeeded. The guy reappeared not long afterwards with an older person. Probably in his early thirties.

what are you waiting for? Across the street, Maria and Rose are not even trying to hide the fact that they have come to a complete stop in front of my house and have been listening to everything from the beginning and are still waiting for more. What am I waiting for? A childhood sweetheart who made it clear that she doesn't want to go home? A friend who has found love where you always love him since you met him? Crazy dressed in green leggings? Eww no ... - Give me 15 minutes to change.

He got there and saw the long queue. “Sorry, excuse me. Please, are you the last person in the queue?” He asked politely, and the person nodded in reply. “Yes, please.” “Ok, I'm behind you.” He said with a smile. The clock ticked, and a few minutes passed. It was almost getting to Scott's turn. After the two persons in his front, it was his turn. While he waited patiently, he got a push as he watched a young man standing in front of him, making him now the fourth person instead of third.
