Mario pulled his gun from his pocket, cocked it, and pointed it at him. Mateo didn’t flinch as he continued laughing, and before he leaned forward, there were gunshots outside the warehouse. I immediately pulled out my gun and backed Mario up. “I told you to kill me before you die!” Mateo laughed behind us, and without a second thought, I turned around and shot him right in the head before he could get away.

Tears are streaming down my face; no one will help me, not even Troy. "Boss, the girls are arriving today. We should start preparing," he says. I know it's just a way to help me. Sofia's POV I was left in a daze and tried to wrap my mind around what Almond Yuturo said. Mario died before my eyes. Him and all of his men. The buzzing noise of my phone caught my attention and I picked up the device to see the incoming call from Almond Yuturo. "I'm not sure I heard you well. Can you come again" I stammered after taking the call. "Mario Karts called, he is alive and on his way to Italy. He asked to speak with you but I think you needed to know first. You said he was dead, right?" He asked me and my memories flashed back to that night in the junkyard.

He signaled his soldiers and they led the way out leaving Calogero with no one. Mario halted abruptly and looked at Calogero.

I punched Enrico square in the nose and in the jaw, and he fell down hard onto a flat rock. Mario punched Jeff and he landed with a dull thud onto the very same rock. Approaching Ken, he held out his gun, shaking, but I snatched it away from him and hit him at the back of the head with it. Breathing fervently, I could see Mario in a panicked look. "That was your idea?!" He yelled angrily.

The second one was from James as he aimed for Mario but Mario had closed the distance between James and he slammed into James with a wrestler's spear technique that sent the both of them scattering along the kitchen floor. The gun in James's hand flew away after the collision. James was stunned and his eyes flew in circles as he battled on trying to get his spinning head to work. Mario was back on his feet and he was looking for a gun —anything he could use to kill. His eyes zeroed on the gun and a murderous grin sat on his face. Michael knew that if he did nothing, his best friend was going to die. So he did the only thing his mind told him to do.

Instead, I threw my hands up, trying to act cool. “Fine,” I said, letting out a sigh like I didn’t care. “Yeah, I tried to pick the lock. What? You never tell me anything, Mario. You keep me in the dark, so I was only trying to figure stuff out myself. What do you want from me?” Mario’s eyes narrowed, like he was debating whether to laugh or strangle me. “You tried to kill me once,” he said, his voice too casual for the words.

Sofia stood still looking toward our car. Then, Caleb’s phone rang, the sharp tone cutting through my sobs. "Mario," Caleb said, his voice tight as he answered. "They planted a sniper," Mario’s voice came through the car's speakers, sounding breathless but triumphant. "But I took care of him. He won't be taking any more shots today." I realized then, the shot that hit Sandy wasn't meant for her. Or maybe it was. Either way, Mario had ended it. "Take her to the boss safely," Mario commanded.

Jordan raised the small knife up and showed it to all of them as his sign of victory over their worst enemy. "You all are too gullible..." They all paused and turned back to see Sonia standing perfectly okay with no scratch to the amazement of everyone. "I have tens of thousands of lives. That person wasn't me and will never be the real me" Sonia said. Jordan hadn't moved from the spot he was as he listened to Sonia speak. Suddenly, he felt an object slash his throat and he found it hard to breathe and fell down to unconsciousness. Apparently the dead Sonia had not died as all thought. She stood there and held the knife which she had used in killing him and licked its blood.
