The pillar’s surface began to crack. Not shatter. Not yet. Hairline fractures spidered out from where my hand touched, racing up and down its length. Light leaked through them in thin, white‑hot streams. Around us, consoles blew in showers of sparks. Screens shattered one by one, their glass fronts exploding outward like they’d been hit from behind. Shards hung in the air for a second, then dissolved into code‑snow—tiny symbols burning as they fell.

It's a region where the fabric of Lunareth itself seems to have come undone—massive chunks of land floating in midair, connected by bridges of solidified magic that shimmer like glass.
