Just then, Sonia came over holding a small file, and Candice looked up at her. Candice’s expression was unpleasant, and even though she had thick makeup on, her bad mood was still palpable. However, Sonia seemed oblivious and placed her file in front of Candice, whispering, "Candice, the specifications here are not very clear. How should we sort them?" Candice lowered her gaze to look at the file, and after a moment, she uttered coldly, "Do you have no hands, or have you never been on the internet?"

Why is there no update. It’s ridiculous you have us spend so much money buying episodes but you don’t finish the story. I feel if you’re taking our money, you have some responsibility to your readers to complete the novel. I’m so sick and tired of spending so much money on all these unfinished novel

I shot my dad a quick text and was received poorly as he sent back an angry face and crying face emoji. “Good morning Miss Summers, Mrs. Murdock” the pilot says as he shakes our hands once we’ve boarded. “I’m Captain Reese and I’ll be flying you from JFK to LAX on this lovely day. The flight will be six hours today, so sit back, relax, and enjoy your flight.”

“Today, the teacher gave you ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ to bring home to read. Do you know how to read it?” Sonny nodded confidently. “Yeah! I can read the whole thing.” The other kids could memorize the book but actually still could not read. However, he already knew how to read quite a bit. To prove that he knew how to read, Sonny took the book from Serenity and flipped it open to start reading it earnestly. After reading one page, he asked, “Aunt Ser, can you help take a picture of me and send it to Mom so that she knows I’m being good and I’m very smart?”

Thus far the book ... was compelling but disappointed that there is no ending to the novel. I planned on reading another book after this but with this experience why would I since there might not be and ending to that one as well! Bummer! Please do better so you don’t loose customers in the future.

The Darkest Wolves

Tell me where you are. For a moment, there was silence. Only the soft crackling of the candle filled the attic. Then... the temperature in the room dropped. Sonia inhaled sharply. Her breath came out as white mist. The flame of the candle bent suddenly-pushed by wind from nowhere. Then a voice, low and rough, echoed inside the attic walls. "Sonia... daughter of Marisel..." Sonia's eyes filled with tears. "Elder Bruce... it's you." "I have heard the whisper," the voice said. "I have felt the book awaken. My tribe's death was not enough to bury it. And now... a young soul dares to carry what she cannot control."

Frequently Asked Questions

'show reading' is one of my favorite ways to experience literature. It's like watching a play unfold in your mind—every gesture, every background detail is painted vividly by the author. Take 'The Shadow of the Wind' by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, where Barcelona's Gothic Quarter becomes a character itself through rich show-reading. Murakami's 'Kafka on the Shore' does this brilliantly too, with scenes like the protagonist cooking pasta that feel tangibly real.

What makes show-reading magical is how it immerses you without drowning you in exposition. In 'Station Eleven' by Emily St. John Mandel, the post-apocalyptic world feels lived-in because we see characters perform Shakespeare in gas stations, not just hear about societal collapse. Fantasy novels like 'The Name of the Wind' by Patrick Rothfuss excel at this—Kvothe's lute-playing scenes vibrate with sensory details. Even in graphic novels like 'Saga', the 'showing' happens through both art and sparse, impactful dialogue.
