But I caught enough of a glimpse to be curious. “A friend whom you text with heart emojis and winking faces? That’s a little bit zesty for just a friend, don’t you think?” Xavier’s face turns slightly red, and he puts his phone face down on the table. “It’s not what you think. We just joke around a lot.”

Scarlet shuddered and groaned into his mouth, when he gave it one more small tug. “Do I ever get tired of you?” Scarlet asked between kisses, her lips trailing a trail down his neck to his shoulder. “Never.” Xavier answered with his trademark cocky grin. “You're just perfect to me… You make everything better.” he said in a low voice, nuzzling her earlobe. Scarlet chuckled, running her nails across the exposed flesh on the base of Xavier's neck, causing him to moan loudly.
