My Heart Hates Me

My Heart Hates Me

"You know, the tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it. You're twenty nine , and you still haven't started living. But well, as mortals always say. It's never too late--Not until you're dead at least" - To be continued

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Raisa wrote a poem entitled in the quiet, she then reread her work. In a lonely corner of the silent night, I hug your shadow in this loneliness. The longing that slices the heart, Flowed with tears that did not stop. In every beat of my heart, There is your name that echoes sadly. The hope that used to strengthen, Now only a painful memory. I walk in empty hallways, Without direction, without light. All the promises you once made, Are now just shadows that disappear slowly. Time passes slowly and cruelly, Leaving deep wounds.

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

The heart screams The rejection of peace To me From me Each new day But then till I live Will I be dust Each new way No success new Reaches me Despite Huge attempts My sweat does make My heart does make I am paralysed Or am I dead I don't even know A moment When I enjoyed life Without a breakage As threat If this is life What is death What is end What is dullness When this is light Of my life I am frail now I know I am weak I know the cause Of my every disease Is mental unease But I still won't complain I still won't complain Till fire extinguish My dreams To dirt, it will be All expectations from me With encouragement Only as a dream How long will I live How long will I blame One day At res

She Belongs To The Sky

She Belongs To The Sky

Though the storm rocks our boats and the gentle wind eases our rows, our peace still ebbs and flows, because until our eyes are fixed beyond the sun, our nostrils will know less roses than our skin the thorns. In a of white and black world, let's be just enough to repel these filthy shades of grey. Karma is a poet, so please the arms that make you less a prey, because until our eyes are fixed beyond the sun, our nostrils will know less roses than our skin the thorns. So let us milk the cow while it is still dawn, for the night comes, when only the diligent will be able to admire the milk he weighed. Even if the sun rises on our evening wake, time will surely set on our wasted years, then our

Unintentionally chased

Unintentionally chased

I don't know whether I'll be able to see him again or not but there's one thing for sure I am going to miss him. CHANGE Ambling the way as it is already destined, Finding the path which is pristine. The joy of today will never last until tomorrow, One wakes up and begins a new sorrow. Every rise of the sun makes a change, Nothing can ever be the same. Like a dark paper with lots of holes, Being painted and so fold. Neither the sky nor the ground, Wondering about the things all around. The rise of color is a new Beginning, Each has its own different meaning. "Levy." Adam's voice brought me back to reality from my thoughts.

Arranged Marriage

Arranged Marriage

Vincent's poem thus; When I too long have looked upon your face, Wherein for me a brightness unobscured Save by the mists of brightness has its place, And terrible beauty not to be endured, I turn away reluctant from your light, And stand irresolute, a mind undone, A silly, dazzled thing deprived of sight From having looked too long upon the sun. Then is my daily life a narrow room In which a little while, uncertainly, Surrounded by impenetrable gloom, Among familiar things grown strange to me Making my way, I pause, and feel, and hark, Till I become accustomed to the dark. I could no longer fight this battle with myself and Jeffrey.

Stories by Irene

Stories by Irene

The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures. Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail, And mortal life shall cease, I shall possess, within the veil, A life of joy and peace. The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, The sun forbear to shine; But God, who called me here below, Will be forever mine. When we’ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise

This one surely is a long read than I prefer but I can definitely say that it’s all worth it. Every page keeps my interest at its pique and the love story is one of the best on this app. Thank you Author.

Forced to Marry the Wicked Werewolf Prince

Forced to Marry the Wicked Werewolf Prince

‘In summer’s hush, he held my hand— The stable boy with hay-strewn hair. We kissed behind the chestnut stand, Hearts tangled fast in midnight air. He called me prettier than gods, With freckled cheeks and bashful grace. I laughed, but still my heartbeat paused Beneath his gaze, beneath his face. I’d trade my silks and lullabies, The pearls they pinned into my braid, For one more dusk, one moment mine, Where no decree our love forbade. But time is cruel to love unblessed— My father’s wrath came swift and cold.

Tuberose

Tuberose

After adjusting my reading glass, I recite it once: ~~~~~ In the midst of the quiet night's embrace, I find myself in a tangled maze, A truth unveiled, a world undone, In shadows cast by the fateful sun. A love once pure is now stained and marred, By secrets kept and hearts left scarred, Unintentional, the pain you've caused, Yet in its wake, my world has paused. I stand on this rooftop high, Beneath the vast and starlit sky, Seeking solace in the gentle breeze, Hoping somehow, my heart finds ease. Lost in thoughts that swirl and twine, A tapestry of yours and mine, A tale of love and shattered dreams,

Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.

The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck
