ELLIOT'S POV I sat up on my Jado steel-style gold bed, reminiscing on some of the things that had happened yesterday. I thought about the financial analyst, Sophie Mack. My encounter with her was at the office and then again at the restaurant. My memories kept going back to her hazel eyes, how they had glowed with rage when she called Olivia a slut, and how my initial likeness for her had immediately dampened into a sort of hatred. The lady seemed like one who was uncouth and had a filthy mouth. If not, why on earth will she call Olivia a slut? Someone she barely even knew.

Her soft and pink lips trembled as tears leaked out of her closed eyes. Her eyelashes were long and made her green eyes look breathtakingly beautiful. Now that her eyes were snapped closed, Andreas had the urge to see them again. Those were definitely the most gorgeous green color he had ever seen. It was weird, how he felt something for this little sacrificial lamb of his. She was just a child and yet she was evoking foreign emotions in him. He had never felt this way, before. As soon as he realized what he was here for, he gritted his teeth and pushed his gun against her set skin, brushing it and almost breaking it. He was quick to snap out of his thoughts.

Tonight, there was nowhere for me to hide. The emerald silk of my gown fell perfectly around me. The fabric caught the warm light of the chandeliers with every small movement.
