Christmas is a period of love, of happiness, of good cheer, it is a period when the whole world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it is a period where everything looks festive, where the clothes are different, where Santa comes out for the first time in a year, where gifts are exchanged, but most of all it is a time for family. Rhea was happy, that year was extremely special, it was something she could not really explain, it was the first Christmas her Theo and Jason would spend together.

Just life. Uncomplicated. Unafraid. And as the fire crackled and the morning light poured in, Sophia leaned back on the couch, Katherine curled into her side, and whispered to herself:

Sandra asked. "Yep and I'm going to make him wish he was never born by the time I'm done with his ass." I answered a little sadistically. "Oh, I really hope it's that asshole who screwed us over." Evelynn sniggered before I took a bite of my pizza and chewed slowly as I smiled. "Sophia, what do you have planned for the holidays this year?" Cynthia asked. "I was actually wondering about that myself." Evelynn admitted. "Well, I was hoping you guys would join me at one of the cabins for Christmas." I replied, "I have a feeling it's going to snow up there this winter and it'll be a white Christmas."

Two Christmases Later Bahamas Snow had a way of making everything feel so beautiful, white and peaceful. It reminded the whole world of the Christ child. The beauty of the season. Melody watched it fall through the glass window of the café, her fingers loosely wrapped around the warmth of the ceramic mug in front of her, though she hadn’t taken a sip yet. Holding gifts in her arms, she sits beneath a luxurious crystal Christmas tree with my parents embracing her from both sides. Ivano stands behind her with his hand resting lightly at her waist and his eyes full of tenderness. The caption reads, "Merry Christmas, I'm grateful to spend the holiday with those who love me most!" The comments section buzzes with blessings, praise, and envious messages.

I dozed off during the car ride back to my mom's house. When I opened my eyes, I noticed we were in the middle of the forest. The sight was beautiful. The trees were covered in snow and there were houses neatly placed along the road. The sun had started to go down and the streetlights came on as well as the Christmas lights on the houses. Everything looked like a winter wonderland. I was in awe, it was such a beautiful sight. Christmas has always been my favorite time of the year. And it's places like this that decorate and go all out is one of the reasons why.
