Touya's POV *Sniff Sniff* "That guy's pulling this crap again. Which omega is it this time?" I murmured and smelled for the second scent. "That omega again." I forced my way into the room and walked straight to the curtains. I pulled them open to see Daisuke on him and for some reason that really pissed me off. I walked over to them, still stunned by me barging in, pulled Daisuke off of him and I couldn't believe the next words that came out of my mouth. "Don't touch what's mine." Daisuke was a bit surprised too.

And then I saw the final file: “Daemon.” Not Damien. Daemon. Subject Omega. The file was locked tighter than anything else, buried beneath security protocols I’d never seen before. But I got it open—at least enough to read the first few lines. SUBJECT OMEGA - STATUS: ACTIVE CODED TO OVERRIDE ALL OTHER ECHO UNITS FAILSAFE INSTALLED: “MOTHER” OPERATIONAL SINCE: [REDACTED] LOCATION: UNKNOWN My heart dropped. This… this wasn’t just Damien’s clone. This was the clone. The one made to lead. To dominate.

She asked with suspicion lingering in her eyes. “I… I think our Alpha mentioned it.” I lied, rattling out. “He didn’t.” She shook her head. “Well, he just did. Let’s go prepare.” I scurried away from her before she bantered me with questions. I had to be careful of the way I predicted things. I returned to the venue to take a final look at it before the event time, the canopies were in the right place including the chairs, tables, and food sets.

A sharp kick to my face sent me sprawling backward. My eyes burned as sand and dirt scraped against them. I gasped, my hand flew straight to my bleeding nose. “Who is your Luna?” Cynthia sneered. “I am no Luna to a useless omega.” I trembled, my body screaming in exhaustion. “Please, ma… I didn’t do anything. I am just a lowly omega.” She squatted and yanked my hair up with her fingers, dragging it so hard I felt my scalp pulling out, “An Omega that's mated to my man, my husband!” she hissed in anger before pushing my head back, “You're not innocent Omega, Daphne. Like I said earlier, I have heard about you!”
