Soul Fire Novel Novels & Stories

"Let me show you." Her black flames exploded outward, but they weren't black anymore. They were silver—the color of moonlight, of mirrors, of reflection. The flames that had only ever destroyed now held something else within them. My white fire. Somehow, impossibly, my healing flame lived on inside my sister's soul. "This is for Mona," Nova said, and silver fire filled the world. The last thing I saw before darkness took me was Alaric's face as he realized what he'd created—not a broken twin, but something far more dangerous.

Then I stepped into the dark. Inside the Soulfire Chamber, there was no warmth. No stone. No breath. Only memory. Time ceased. Thought fractured. Light bled into shadow. Flame curled not across skin, but through soul. They came, not as shapes, not as gods of gold and fire, but as presence. They spoke without words. They saw. Every part of me. They didn't test strength. They tested truth. They showed me her. Zeina, newborn and wrapped in silk. Zeina, a girl with fire in her eyes and silence on her lips. Zeina, kneeling in ash after her transformation of her wolf woke, trembling as her own people flinched from her.

And if I am correct, he is the leader of the Soulless. “Geminie the Soulless are gone. You can put out your flames.” A voice calls out. I growl in warning, ears flattening against my head as I watch a hand be burned by my flames and a scream is heard. The owner of the hand rushes to the side where a small pond waits. “What the hell is wrong wit her?!” Comes the should of the angry person who has been burned. I growl again, slinking low to the ground. I had to protect myself.

Draped in a gown woven from soot and ash that billowed though no wind stirred. The shadow twin tilted her head. “You called me.” “I called the truth,” Autumn said, forcing her voice to hold steady. “Same thing.” The twin circled her, bare feet silent on nothing. “You burned him. You felt it—the way the fire answered you, the way it bent him closer. You liked it.” Autumn’s hand curled at her side. “I saved him.” “You claimed him,” the twin hissed. “Big difference.” Her hand rose. Soul-fire bloomed at her palm, hotter, wilder than Autumn’s ever dared—white edged with violet, writhing like a living thing eager to devour.

“I did. And so did everyone else in this bus. You are no longer in your mortal bodies, and you now exist as your bare conscience. Hence, you cannot think, and everything you think is a thought is being said aloud. Now, sit.” Once again, I’m somehow sitting without moving an inch. “If I have to repeat this instruction, you will fail to transition, Soul 113.” “Nova,” I grumble, folding my arms, a sign that I’ve given up trying. I don’t know why he keeps calling me a number. My name is Nova. I prefer it to that stupid thing he keeps calling me, like I’m an animal in a farmer’s yard. “I do not have a gender, Soul 113. You refer to me as they, or nothing at all.”

Of her. She flipped through pages drawn in charcoal—some with shaking hands, some with precision. One page showed a girl surrounded by flame. Her eyes were glowing. Her silhouette, familiar. “What is this?” she asked. “It’s the record of the Fireborn,” he said. “There’s only ever one in a generation. Sometimes none. It skips centuries. But when the world begins to change—when things grow restless—that fire finds a home.” She closed the journal, her heart thudding. “Why me?”

Ruby read and was belwirded by each and every word, and she turned the pages, reading and processing every single word. After the Flames extinction, a prophecy was predicted that when the time is right. A Flame will rise from the ashes, A Hybrid, a flame and werewolf, born from a human bloodline. A Queen to both Witches and Werewolves. The Last Flame in existence shall rise and be reunited with her Ignis for they shall lead the wolves and the witches. Like a true King and Queen. She stopped reading and looked at the ceiling in amazement, "I am a freaking Queen?"

From the power within my soul, I hereby summon the relic of fireth. I was surprised because it was the same word as Sushi. So I turned to Sushi now who was still small and didn't even look at me. He was looking at Faris as if he was waiting for what was going to happen. I looked back at Faris because suddenly there was a big groove where he was standing. We were all alert. I saw that the lava boiled and gradually they floated as if alive. Faris reached for a piece of lava and I winced when I heard a sound that sounded like metal coming from a burning fire and placed it in water. If it was a normal person, I'm sure that his hand would have been pierced due to the heat.

I gathered all the remaining strength and closed my eyes. With a steady yet passionate voice, I whispered, "I will bind our souls together again." "I'll take you back." Hot and violent, the Crimson Flame blazed to life in my chest. From me, the flames encircled Killian's corpse. His own body shuddered, as though the warmth were resisting the chill that had seized hold of him. I wasn't scared, though. I couldn't be. I mashed my forehead against his, and the flame inside me surged, roaring with power. Once again, the fire connected our souls as it twisted around us in spirals. Hotter than ever, it burned, but I wouldn't back down.

Theo The heat slammed into me like a tidal wave. My wolf howled in alarm as the fire encircled her, wild and uncontrolled. Every rational thought vanished. I ran. The moment I crossed the boundary, pain exploded across my skin. The fire burned—not flesh alone, but essence, searing straight through to bone. I gritted my teeth, forcing my legs to keep moving. “Sofia!” She stood at the center of the inferno, eyes glowing blinding silver, hair lifting as if caught in a storm. Power poured out of her unchecked.
