Victor wanted to reluctantly argue, blinded by what was really happening but the next second his breath hitched in utter disbelief at the sudden occurrence flashing before him. “No… No!... im... impossible! It must be the drug… you must have released the fumes in here… yes! That has to be it… this was all part of your plan… have the others distract me… while you were secretly waiting to take me out…” The agitated man reasoned; clearly in denial as he stumbled backwards pressing on the wall behind him for support, his eyes intently glued to the scene of the glitching figure several steps ahead. “I… can assure you… this is no drug… and I am… Mike Rayburn… a soul with a vengeance.”

Looking up at the sky with the sad smile plastered on his face he spoke up, "Why so hatred for me, ya Rab?" Miles away from him the girl with a cuddling baby in her arms uttered looking up at the sky, "I express my deep gratitude to Y ou for sending this angel to me, Ya Rab." 

Noah’s eyebrow twitched, and he pretended not to have heard Blackie’s cackling, “Alright, so what is this reactionary response? What happens when it is triggered?” “Ah, this reactionary response…” Blackie’s tone was rather nonchalant, “It’s what you’d call a soul cuddle.” Within seconds, Noah’s face crumpled into an expression that could only be described with the words ‘are you shitting me?!’ Blackie smirked knowingly, “Ah, but not just anyone can afford to cuddle with a soul of a worldborn! In most cases, your soul hug will figuratively choke the living daylights out of them.”

"NOOOOOOOOOO!" I pulled both of them to my chest, rocking back and forth, my face pressed into Leo’s cold hair. I shrieked, a high, thin sound of absolute madness that echoed off the trees, a sound of a woman who had nothing left to lose and an entire world to burn. "MY BABIES! GOD, NOT MY BABIES!" I shrieked again, the sound breaking into a jagged, violent wail that pierced the night, a mother’s soul shattering into a million pieces of ice.

I ask. “You know he will not come back until there are no more screams coming from that place, you know he feeds on these things and the screams are the only thing that will get him off since he can’t see their faces.” I laugh at that; he is right Souls enjoys looking at his victims and seeing the life leave their bodies. However, this time he does not get to have that experience. “Yuri?” I question and he shakes his head. Clearly, he didn’t go to his side and I fear for Yuri if he went to Souls because he might be the one giving Souls the opportunity to see a life leaving a human body and it will be Yuri’s.

Finally, sixteen weeks, I can see what I'm having. Soul is sat by my side, reading a book. He won't let me go anywhere alone! I feel so claustrophobic! I want to scream! It actually seems to help me right now when I listen to the lyrics. Can I beat him? Can I take control of my life? I'm going to do something!
