The Winter That Buried Our Youth

The Winter That Buried Our Youth

Dad covered his ears and stumbled wildly around the room, knocking over a vase and overturning chairs. He cranked the air conditioner to its highest setting and wrapped himself in two comforters. Yet, he still felt cold. The suffering I endured before my death was now being repaid to him in double measure, bit by bit. Dad went mad—or rather, he was teetering on the edge of a breakdown and found one last way to seek redemption. He stubbornly believed that if he also climbed that snowy mountain and endured what I did, I'd forgive him, or he could at least prove that his tough love parenting wasn't wrong.

Falling For The Enemy

Falling For The Enemy

“I had to get out of there. Mark was being a real dick.” “Sorry.” I make a face. “Everything okay? I mean, other than that?” “Sure, yeah. As fine as it ever is, I suppose.” I’m about to tell him about Cataleya’s questions when he says, “I used to love the ocean.” “Did you stop?” His throat works, and he doesn’t answer for a moment. “I’m scared of it now. Not of swimming in it, but I’m scared of the feelings it can evoke. My dad made sure I learned to surf, you know.”

Finding Myself

Finding Myself

00 and I should have the new ones either Monday or Tuesday. Let's just say that Kevin's parents were not happy with their son for picking on and I quote, "the poor crippled boy," end quote. Let's just say that dad was not thrilled with their choice of words about his son, regardless if they didn't mean to insult me. Dad blew up on them, telling them they were 'ignorant twats'. Dad is originally from Doncaster, England, which is 76.2 miles from Liverpool, England. Dad moved to the United States when he was only 18 years old to attend the University of California, in Berkley, California for his Audio Production Degree and now is a Music Producer in Hollywood. Craving my Dad's Billionaire BestFriend

Craving my Dad's Billionaire BestFriend

He said thickly, facing my Dad. "Can we do that when I get back from Atlanta tonight?" Dad asked. "You're still going to the summit?" "Yeah," Dad replied. "I'll be home tonight." I could see the relief on Gav's face when Dad said that. "I guess we'll celebrate without you then," I told him. "I'll drop Camille home," Gav offered and Dad nodded. "Thanks, Man," We watched him drive off until Megan cleared her throat. "So, I guess I'll hail a cab,"

**Author** HOW could you skip what happened after Camille's dad died. Nothing about Gal's son or ex-wife? Please don't rush this story because you write really well until the mix-up. There are too many things missing from. the story is causing confusion and making the story no longer interesting.

OFF LIMITS Best Friend's Dad

OFF LIMITS Best Friend's Dad

“Dad, did you finally relax or were you answering emails again?” Alexander cleared his throat, his voice a touch rougher than usual. “I… helped Mia with some sunscreen earlier. Then made a few calls. Nothing too exciting.” Mia’s toes slid higher, pressing against his inner thigh now. She watched his face with innocent eyes while her foot continued its teasing exploration. “He was very thorough, actually. Made sure I didn’t miss any spots. His hands are really strong.” Lily grinned. “See? I told you Dad gives the best sunscreen applications. He used to do mine when I was little, remember? You’d always complain that I was too squirmy, Dad.”

Dad Only Loves His New Son

Dad Only Loves His New Son

Eugene stood right beside her with his head lowered, as though he had suffered great injustice. Ms. Hill held her phone out in front of me. "Take a look at this." Late last night, an anonymous post had popped up on the school forum. The title of the post was incredibly direct, and the content was even more so. It claimed that Eugene wasn't Ian's biological son, yet he was hogging all the resources because Ian was spending money to pave the way for him. It also implied that Ian had abandoned his ex-wife and biological daughter just to turn around and raise someone else's kid.

The C.E.O.'s Secret

The C.E.O.'s Secret

on its way here. I'm just here on the sofa and bent over. I'm still crying because my heart hurts so much. It hurts to lose a loved one. The kind you'll never see again. I didn't expect this. What really happened to Dad? I was startled when someone pressed the passcode lock of my condo. I know it's Gio. He immediately came to me and hugged me. "Dad, I'm gone," I whined to him. "Shhh, don't worry we will go to Siargao right now," he promised me. "How are we going to America?" I asked him. "Let's not do itthink about that. Let's take a private plane. I'll just call my assistant," he promised me so I just nodded. "I'm sorry if I disturbed you," I promised him when he finished calling his assis

Seducing My Dad’s Friend’s Son

Seducing My Dad’s Friend’s Son

I wasn’t supposed to be home this summer. College had been my escape—my excuse to avoid the suffocating expectations of being Aria Hale, perfect daughter of perfect businessman Victor Hale. But when Dad insisted I come home for his “important dinner,” I didn’t expect him to walk through the door. Jace Carter. My dad’s friend’s son. The boy who used to steal cookies off our counter and dare me to jump from the treehouse roof. The boy who moved away at seventeen and left behind a trail of rumors—fights, girls, a motorcycle accident that nearly killed him.

My hot step dad

My hot step dad

I tapped open the iMessage, " HELLO I GOT YOUR NUMBER FROM MY DAD AND I JUST WANTED TO APOLOGIZE ABOUT WHAT I SAID OVER THERE I KNOW I SOUNDED RUDE OR CRINGE, MORE LIKE I DIDN' LIKE YOU SEXUALLY THAT WAS WHAT I MEANT." As I read the first paragraph, I hissed and dropped the phone back on the bed, "So they do like someone sexually?" I asked. "This is not good at all if he went to this extent to get my number from his dad. Aiden needs to be killed so badly." I stamped my feet on the ground and clipped my bra.

They hesitated but then Gina told them about my wounds, and show them the recent ones, that was when my dad flipped and called his lawyers and he was arrested hours later. So, here I was years later back at my parents as Troy was back on the streets. I didn't know how he pulled it off but he was definitely back. Mom and dad were on their way back home. I was having another day to relax and to calm my nerves, before the series of questions from them and their lawyers.

nice story, it's not long and winding like most of the stories i read, it didn't stray from what it says in the title, it doesn't have lots of extra characters that have their own inserted story within the story, really great!
