Sounds Like Titanic Novels & Stories

"SOMEBODY HELP!" The last thing I hear before darkness starts swallowing me whole is Tiana crying and the sound of distant footsteps thundering towards us.

It felt like I was being hit by a speeding truck and then tossed straight into a freezer. “Lucas… In here” I managed, my voice barely a breath. It came out weak…pathetic even…and halfway through, I realized it sounded exactly like Rose calling out for Jack in Titanic. Great. Just what I needed. My near-death moment turned into melodrama. “Boss!” he shouted again, panic creeping in, and then came the crash…one solid kick and the door burst open. He froze when his eyes landed on me, my body buried in the tub.

The note that called to them was unlike any they had heard before. It wasn't a cry of pain or a song of joy. It wasn't even a single note. It was a cascade, a complex, interwoven tapestry of sound that felt less like music and more like… a conversation. A thousand different voices, all speaking at once, yet creating a strange, chaotic harmony. It was the sound of a civilization that thought not in melodies, but in layered, simultaneous discussions.

The sound tore through the air like thunder. A deafening crack echoed across the terminal, sharp enough to make everyone scream at once. Elena’s breath hitched violently as the ground beneath her seemed to shudder. “Kai—watch out!” she screamed. Her eyes widened in horror as she saw it—the massive glass window above them splintering, fractures racing across its surface like lightning veins. Time slowed cruelly as the pane gave way, shards breaking loose, cascading downward toward Kai.

"Sir, we heard strange noises in this area." Almost in the blink of an eye, Dominic rushed towards the area, his steps faltering, as if he could no longer stand. He put on a sound detector and listened intently. Just like what the captain of the rescue team had said, they detected a series of strange sounds. It was like a steady knock on a strong glass. "Sir, we've searched the area very carefully. Although the sound may sound strange, I'm guessing it's probably just water falling on ice."

Shaking his head, the father turned back to look at the bridge which had started to give away in the middle. On the bridge of death, the two speedsters, Carol and Damon, were bolting through the congestion of gridlocked vehicles when they were hit by the shockwave, sweeping them off their feet. They were thrown back as each of them crashed into cars. The shockwave had then cleared when the ground below them began to move. They were getting back on their feet to see the lightning pillar cut the bridge in half and both ends were then tipping downwards, Titanic style before plunging three hundred and seventy-seven feet into the waters of the Pacific below.

he banged his hand twice on the door and waited. Celine was in bed, watching a movie with a small tub of ice cream. Titanic. It was the scene where the giant ship breaks into two with the terrorizing screams of falling passengers. She was deeply engrossed when, “Celine!!!” she heard a rumbling bang among the screams coming from the television but it was not from the movie. “What was that?” She lowered the sound on the TV and concentrated on the noise she heard. “Celine, open the fucking door.” It was louder this time and Celine now realized it was her ex-husband voice.

It wasn't dark, although the only light came from consistent lightning strikes. Then I felt the ground shake. It thumped really hard like men were on horses. I closed my eyes to properly listen to the sound that was coming. I could hear horses neighing. The wing got stronger. I heard growls and snarls. I felt death in itself, and it gripped me strongly. And most importantly, I heard a name… it came like a whisper, like a plea, like a cry, like a prayer… it shook the grounds and made the horses run faster. It made men fall and disappear… Just a name… “Tenebris…”

Snap The sound makes me freeze, and I’m completely and utterly aware that I didn’t step on a twig. Someone, or something else, did.

"How's the honeymoon? Are you both alive, hydrated, and not arrested in a foreign country?" Eliana arched an eyebrow as she went on smiling sweetly. "Well, we're certainly alive. Well, we're definitely hydrated. And no, despite Damian bribing a street violinist to play our theme song from Titanic, we're not under arrest." Damian spoke softly from the side of her. "Not over the rejection. He totally would have nailed that Celine Dion solo." Laughter came from the other end of the phone. "That man is a walking, charming disaster."
