Rey's gaze kept snagging on the architecture: wide vents lining the ceiling like ribs, banks of instruments humming behind glass, and panels that glowed with slow lines of light. The air smelt of metal and earth and the faint, clean tang of filtration—no salt, no smoke, no pine.
"Where... where are we?" she asked, eyes wide as she took it all in.
