I was about to remove my headgear when Amansinaya stopped me. “You might not notice it, but this kingdom is full of water.” I felt a lump in my throat. If I removed my headgear, I would probably be in danger for a second there. We looked around, mermaids and other aquatic animals were swimming above us. As Orlene and I wandered around, I didn’t notice that Amansinaya left us there. “Hello~” I heard a gentle voice. I turned my head and saw a mermaid. She winked at me and gave me a flying kiss. What’s wrong with her?

“At least I can trust the Emperor to ensure she will be alright.” It was before midnight on the Southeastern Island. Harriet chose the dawn at Almandine because she knew this was the case. The Merfolks and Sirens avoided surfacing under the daylight. Merfolks and Sirens, the elves of the ocean. When Merfolks could be said to be the equivalent of Elves, the Sirens were the equivalent of Dark Elves. They had their own societal structure down in their deep ocean kingdom. The deepest parts of it were so dark no light ever came out; not even sunlight did. Several species of monsters existed but were different in shape and size, some of which resembled gigantic squid or eels.

Each of them ate one marble and swam under the sea. It shocked them how they can see clearly even when it's night. Not only that, their clothes and hair aren't wet. They can even talk telepathically. This must be how the mermaids are underwater, no wonder their hairs aren't wet. One mermaid named Ira guide their way to the ship. And below, they wait for the lost boy to drop wolves which will be given the marble to swallow. They didn't all have to go but as they say, the more the merrier.

What kind of creatures are they? Sieghal knew that all the peoples of Shira believed that an entity always protected them whenever they went to sea to fish. With its blessing, the gods provided endless abundance and safety for the fishermen. However, no one knew what that entity was, so all of Shira believed they were sea guardian gods. But not Sieghal. While they believed it was god, Sieghal was convinced by what he saw as a child that it was not a god but a terrifying creature, massive and more dangerous than the most ferocious shark, always opening its mouth wide, ready to devour him at any time.

Ariel laughed a little. "Alright momma, let's go inside." Ariel and Mrs. Smith walked inside and was greeted by all her friends and family. "Happy birthday, Ariel!" Everyone yelled, making Ariel smile. "Thank you everyone! I'll be right back. Let me just go put this lava lamp up." Ariel ran to her room and plugged the lava lamp up; it has vibrant blue goo flowing around and Ariel's eyes couldn't help, but brighten up at the sight. "See? I told everyone you'd work just fine." Ariel said before she got up and ran back downstairs to her party.

Lyra’s POV I’d never seen anything more beautiful than the ceremony grounds at sunset. Many white candles flickered in the dimming light, creating a soft glow among the old oak trees. Flower petals, including jasmine and rose, along with an unfamiliar scent that reminded me of moonlight, covered the paths to the sacred circle. Representatives from twelve different packs filled the wooden benches arranged in circles around the ceremonial platform, their eyes shining with excitement. And at the center of it all, the Moon Stone. A massive piece of silver-veined marble that had been used for mating ceremonies for over three centuries, now glowing with an inner light that seemed to pulse in rhyth
