Sapphire told me a story once, about a group of sea creatures that were solely dedicated to evil and their evil queen who sought nothing but to claim every ocean and destroy other life forms that aren't her species. They call themselves Mirties Perlai and were another race of mermaids. They didn't have tails and possessed incredible powers. The queen was extremely evil but the other sea creatures led by the sea king attacked them and they were destroyed. The queen got away and lived with humans for the rest of her days.

The trees are placed perfectly around the waterfall, so that we can clearly see the stars. The moonlight reflects off the water, making the darkness disappear entirely. "You know what this looks like?" I shake my head, "What?" "It's stupid, but this old TV show I found on Netflix, from like 2008. It's called H2O: Just Add Water. Basically, these three teenagers get lost on an island in Australia, and it has a moon pool. Every full moon, the pool has this magic energy that turns humans into mermaids. This show just had me casually thinking that I could be a mermaid, freely traveling throughout the sea. The mermaids also had powers like manipulating water, freezing water, and boiling water. I

She said, "Okay. I will leave them alone." Damien and I got in the Hummer with Ely and Eivin and we left for the airport. Once we were in the air, I asked Damien why they want us there. I didn't think we could offer much help. He said, "They know you are good at uniting species. They want to ally with the mermaids." I said, "Sweet! We could do the same!" He said, "The Queen of the Mermaids lives in one of the lakes in Nebraska." I said, "Really? I would've thought she lived in the ocean or the sea?" He said, "Nope. This lake is her childhood home, so this is where she feels most comfortable." I said, "That is so cool."

Taegen rolled his eyes. Jimmy couldn't believe his eyes. Beautiful mermaids started showing up, their gorgeous body moving elegantly inside the water. A nice scent reached their noses and a soothing sound of their chants caressed their ears. “What are they doing here?” Jimmy asked. “They are looking for preys. They seduce the creatures with their beauty and take them to the bottom of the water to become their slave.” Taegen said. “Don't look at their eyes, Diamond.” Jimmy nervously nodded and kept on looking at the rainbow above them.

"Why do you want to speak to their leader?" Coco asked, and Stralath realized that he'd need to outline the entire mission. She didn't know about their planet. "You're aware that so-called "mermaids" or "merpeople" are an alien species who landed here thousands of years ago." Coco crossed her legs. "I knew that the minute the NIRL showed interest." "The original settlers were a scouting party looking for a liveable planet for their people. Except after landing on the seafloor, they couldn't return for some reason.

My father said, as he touched the pod with the mermaid floating lifelessly. “No, you can’t take her to our planet, you don’t know what it would do to her. She needs water to survive and you know our planet has no water nor can we sustain water on our planet. Our people have been trying for centuries to find a way to stop water from evaporating on our planet.” “Don’t tell me the history of my planet. You abandon your planet for this dump of a planet, you’ve been gone too long to know the advancements we have made.” My father said angrily. I watched as our scientist scan and took blood from the mermaid. They were wearing proactive gear to keep their bodies protected, our bodies needed to stay

Zara cuts in before he can say anything more, "let's not scare the girl. She's only just become a part of this world." "Fine," he sighs as he says this as though not talking about it is a serious letdown for him. "Guess it's a good thing that dragons aren't found in the U.S. There are also Kitsune and Selkie. Then, there are witches, banshees, and vampires.” "Don't forget about the fae," Zara butts in, clearly excited. "Fae?" "Incubi, succubi, dwarfs, elves, gnomes, goblins, leprechaun, sprites, trolls, pixies, brownies," Zara ticks them off on her fingers excitedly.

Each of them ate one marble and swam under the sea. It shocked them how they can see clearly even when it's night. Not only that, their clothes and hair aren't wet. They can even talk telepathically. This must be how the mermaids are underwater, no wonder their hairs aren't wet. One mermaid named Ira guide their way to the ship. And below, they wait for the lost boy to drop wolves which will be given the marble to swallow. They didn't all have to go but as they say, the more the merrier.

Vera silently thanked the Moon goddess that Patti knew her so well. “Mom got some new ones. Remember?” Patti’s red eyes scrunched. “The ones with the mermaids.” Vera forced a grin. “Uh-huh. I’m going to make mine look like the lagoon sisters…they’re the prettiest.” Patti hiccupped as she grimaced. “No…the hair is green!” “Green is the prettiest color for mermaids.” Vera teased. “The river sirens are better. They have hair like the moon and purple eyes!” Patti said with some liveliness to her voice.

Amelia called out. A lithe figure darted from the ship's rigging, her aquamarine eyes alight with arcane energy. Marina, the siren of the seas, lifted her arms, and a torrential spout of water blasted from her palms, propelling a serpent back into the abyssal depths. Her voice, a weapon of its own, wove a disorienting melody, ensnaring the creatures’ senses and leaving them vulnerable.
