The motel looked like it hadn't been updated since sometime in the 80's. Click. Static. Click. Static. Click. The screen flickered to life with a high pitched whine, the picture rolling twice before stabilizing into a grainy, Technicolor desert. Men in oversized cowboy hats were riding horses across a dusty canyon, guns drawn. Their mouths moving out of sync with the audio. An old western. Perfect. It was just noise. It wasn't the news, it wasn't reality. It was just mindless, rhythmic noise to drown out the silence of the room and Pad-Pad of the paws she imagined she could still hear on the concrete outside.

It was time to leave the East Coast and enter new territory. Step one: stay away from the main pack cities. There were five cities that I knew about: Silver City in Vermont, Greenville in Louisiana, Durangille in Montana near the Canadian border, Thorny Gardens in Kansas, and the biggest city of them all was Shadow Crest. It was on the West Coast in Oregon near the California border and covered a huge area of forests and land.

Alpha Wyatt I will always protect my little mate, she’s mine and mine only—as I am hers. My wolf keeps pushing through wanting to stay in wolf form just to be in our strongest form to defend our future Luna, Remi. I wouldn’t let harm come her way if I have anything to do with it, I do have my reputation for a reason. Before Remi came around, I was ruthless, I was known for my brutal force and strength. I was always good to my pack, but if any threat came our way or we had to advance on surrounding rabid rogues, I took immediate action, ending the threat without blinking an eye. I’m glad that my Alpha buddies are coming for the Luna Ceremony as I need some guy time to think about Remi’s dream

I asked wanting to know my options. "Do you have somewhere in mind?" He asked and I searched my brain for a place. "Babe what was the name of that place we went to near Ace Street?" I asked Starr the shrimp pasta we had in mind. "You mean the same place I fucked you a-" "Yes," I said cutting her off, her bluntness leaving me shy. "Cater's," She answered laughing slightly the sound mixing with Jason's chuckle. "What do you both want from Carter's?" he asked softly as I relaxed in his loving hold.

j " Beta what the hell was that attack from. There hasn't a attacks in 4 years." " Yes Alpha. I have connected the Delta so far there has been attacks that have spread from Texas toward the pack. So far we haven't found anything that could connect Rose to it all." replied T.j

He had to admit this place wasn't as bad as he'd expected. He let his gaze wander around the shop, taking in things he hadn't really noticed yesterday. The artwork on the walls, for instance. Yesterday, they had been blurs of color. Today, he realized they were great examples of contemporary Western art. The style was very distinctive and arresting. Someone had lovingly painted a magnificent stallion, a small herd of horses galloping across a pasture, a tired cowboy at the end of a long day, and other similar scenes. Whoever this was might have come from Montana like he had, because the essence of the cowboy had been captured perfectly.

The wind carried whispers of the past, sweeping across the barren plains as Vesper continued to walk into the remnants of Adobe Walls, Texas. The town wasn’t much—a ghost of its former self—but its echoes held stories she needed to remember. It was a ghost town in the eyes of humans and the government, but now it has become a haven for vampires like her.

But at least he tried to make me feel comfortable. Two hours later, we arrived in Sexton, West Virginia, the home of the Timberwolves. For some reason I didn't think of timber wolves when I thought of West Virginia, but when I Googled it, I discovered they were listed as one of two breeds of wolves in the region.

She said we needed to watch out for spending until we made proper budgets so that we didn’t waste away the money left for us. “It’s locked,” Zach shouted. He had rushed to the door immediately. “Here’s the key.” Hannah said, throwing it to Emmett who caught it. Emmett handed it to Zach, who went to open the door. “Who is that?” I asked Hannah when I saw a man walking towards us. He was a middle-aged, tall, burly man with a stern face, the type you see in western movies. The tall boy following him stopped at the gatepost, leaning against it.

I’m like a Marlboro man so I kick on back Wish I could roll on back to that old town road I wanna ride till I can’t no more This song perfectly complements Cassius in massive proportions. Picture this: several miles from our pack, nestled in the majestic mountains, lies our sprawling ranch and a magnificent lodge. The air is crisp, carrying the faint scent of pine and the distant sounds of laughter from humans enjoying their year-round vacations. From Monday to Friday, we all tirelessly manage the ranch and lodge. But when the weekend arrives, we immerse ourselves in exhilarating rodeos, leaving the care of the ranch and lodge to ranch hands and omegas.
