Spartan Space Marine Novels & Stories

"This is not civilian strength. This is conditioning. Muscle memory." I pull up another screen, fingers flying as I dig into sealed archives files that should have been irrelevant. Discarded. Buried. Personnel records. Old ones. And then I see it. My breath stills. "Mara Wyatt," I read aloud. "Formerly Mara Raken." Darius stiffens. I feel it through the bond. Sharp. Immediate. Raken. The name carries weight. Even now. Even after years. "She was Beta Corps," I continue scrolling. "Elite track. Top of her class. Specialized in close quarters combat and counter surveillance."

Most of these frames were occupied by familiar mechs-a mangled Regiment and a shieldless Crusader, to name a few-but one particular mech caught my eye. The Spartan stood in the centre of the room, stripped almost entirely of its blue armour. The mech's frame was gaunt, and even from a distance I could see that its unprotected chassis was a tangle of wires. Bits of bullet-ridden armour littered the ground around it, in the process of being carried away by a four-man team.

[Parris–about 30 minutes ago] “So this is the wolf causing all the commotion,” Commander Sterling stood tall in his black fatigues, his sleeves rolled up to the elbow to show arms laced with deep scars. “What did you say his name was?” “Daniels,” the Brotherhood soldier reported, using the identity we had crafted back at the base with Calyx in case it came to this. “Marcus Daniels. Third Division. Level 2 Gamma. Trained in the special forces in Moon River City.”

The cold winter air brushed the fur on her coat with her enormous belly buried underneath her thick garment as she walked closer to Arakis. “I shall name the baby Rikas… if you failed to return to me” Her fearless eyes spoke a thousand more words as she looked upon the giant figure of Arakis. Warriors never go back on their words so apparently, the war had already begun. The army of the twin caves; a total of 456 Martians and 390 Human soldiers assembled on a straight line, row by row as Arakis and his first daughter Mercedes, stood to address the soldiers. They were roughly dressed in their body armours. It is the law of the Martians to have the eldest heir of the ruling warrior to hold the

The long trip west had been punctuated by one inflight refueling, but all three of the cybernetic aircraft managed to complete the journey. One of the insectoid looking craft carried Kairi, Marco, and Sophie, while the others were packed with troops selected by the recently promoted Sergeant Major Sparrow. Half the security force was composed of biological bodies, while the rest consisted of reactivated Trooper IIs. Not what the noncommissioned officer wanted... but what the political situation would permit. Or, as Kairo put it, "The idea is to make friends, but waste the city". Still, it pays to be careful, and make an impression, which was why Sparrow and his troops were allowed to deass t

They turned and ran away from the explosion. Once they were sure that the remaining marines fled, everybody stood up. Rifle still at ready but now feeling more sure that the worse was behind them. A power-armor came up to their left flank. It looked almost the same as the ones the Empire Marines used except this one had a shoulder-mounted missile launcher on its right instead of the autocannons. Its colors were also different—this one had the Kalayaan Olive Drab and Coyote Brown Digital Camo. "Hot damn! Took you long enough, 1," Mountain roared in laughter.

And I stop where I am. It's Marinah, but not the Marinah from earlier. She's larger, scarier, and deadlier. She's grown a foot, and it's not just her height. Her entire body is larger. I've only read about this in our history texts. In the books, they talk about Nova Warriors. They stayed behind on the home planet, sacrificing their lives so more could live. What I'm seeing before me is pure Nova. It's said when they go into rage mode, they grow in size. They're also nearly impossible to defeat.

she was my ex. Martin General Number Four, one of the strongest Generals was genetically modified and his body was enhanced to the core. He could adapt to any situation easily. Thoth was number three, he was named after the Egyptian god Thoth because of his wisdom and understanding. He was also very mischievous and always had this creepy smile on his face.
