Taming the Devil

Taming the Devil

I felt like someone just scraped my throat with sandpaper. "Okay, I will." I typed and sent him. I did not want to torture myself by dragging this conversation. Nor did I want to see Delilah. So, I asked Samuel to sign a contract with her and send her a schedule and script for a shooting. I intend on keeping this as quiet as possible.

A Deal with the Devil

A Deal with the Devil

"Hi, welcome to Cris Cafe what can I get for you?" "I'll like a cup of cappuccino and an apple pie," the lady said with an attitude, I wasn't in the mood to say anything so I just made her coffee and handed her pie to you. "Hey bitch" Mario my best friend said to me "Have you heard the news?" he continued "What news?" "That Walker enterprise is open for submission of applications as a personal assistant, I think you should submit one, I have the hope that you'll be called for an interview "

Whispers of the Devil

Whispers of the Devil

And then an unfamiliar house swims to the forefront, a large, boxy building sagging toward the mire on the same foundation as the one I had built. These thoughts belong to Amos, I realize. But the demon’s walked this swamp for the last time. The portal hungrily devours Amos’s soul. I don’t know if it’s dead, or if it’s just been sent back to hell. Honestly, I’d prefer that I never find out. I don’t fight as the spectral opening beckons me deeper. I’d made a deal with the devil. My soul has been forfeited since the very moment I first allowed Amos in.

Devil's Dark

He turns to them again and then nods to acknowledge Laurel as she gulps, nodding back…soft but acknowledging. He opts to sit beside Gabriel, now facing the family with a questionary eye. The devil and the healer. Feels like judgment day. “Hi, Laurel, do you know who I am?” he leans forward after getting a reassuring nod from Gabriel. Laurel nods.

When I start reading a chapter, I'm afraid to reach the end of that chapter because I am not sure I can handle the suspense and/or cliffhangers. But do I stop reading? No. That's what a good book does to you.

The devil you know

The devil you know

He shocked himself by telling her, he never spoke about his mother. “I’m sorry, Bane,” Emma said. “It is what it is. It a fucked-up world.” “Yes it is,” she agreed and snuggled in closer. Bane was happy when their conversation died and was replaced by the comfortable silence that the two of them shared. He hadn’t counted on the conversation taken such an unexpected turn. He needed to watch his tongue around his angel. Even as they drifted off to sleep, there were words on the tip of his tongue that were forbidden. Words he could never speak, but was desperate to let fly. If things had been different, then maybe. But things were as they were. Bane was not one to live in a fantasy world. If yo

AWESOME! This is one of the very best mafia love stories that I have read on this site. Great storyline, strong characters, interesting, not drawn out, fantastic ending and written well. I am adding you to my favorite author list. Will be reading more of your completed works. Great job author!

Read in 1 day because I couldn't put it down. Great storyline and characters. Like most books on this platform some grammar and other things are incorrect. However, most can be easily overlooked due to how much you get drawn into the story by the main character.

Owed to the Devil

Owed to the Devil

Then they all looked at me. I paused in the middle of tying my duffel. “What?” “Where are you off to, Ice?” Delilah asked, using her annoying nickname for me. “You never said.” “Home,” I said, keeping my voice light. “Just… catching up on commissions. Sculptures. Stuff.” That was the part where I was supposed to nod and ramble about a family trip to Greece, or art camp in Italy, or something that made it sound like I had parents who even remembered I existed. Instead, I just shrugged and picked at a thread on my jeans.
