The room was nothing but a mess. Sophie hesitated at the entrance. She had no clue where to face. She thought there would be something like a shelf where all the jars, book of spells and other magical ingredients would be neatly arranged. The Mage's room wasn't like that. It was something else. With everything scattered all over, like the room of someone who left the town in a hurry. She ventured in and kicked through the mess. She finally found the set of jars placed beside each other. They had covers with all the colors present in the world except red, the one she wanted specifically.

It was an uncomfortable sensation. Unable to resist, Heloise shifted her gaze from the book. Just as she was about to look up, a transparent green jar was placed on her book. The jar was full of peppermints. A hand with well-defined joints rested on top of the jar, the nails trimmed short and clean. "For you." A low, magnetic voice descended from above her head. His overthinking brain kicked into high gear, and Jester did a few quick tests to see if there was anything suspicious about the third spell. “That’s odd,” said Jester aloud. Some she recognized as common herbs for even more common remedies, but others were completely foreign to her. Her eyes slowly combed the contents of the jars as she moved from shelf to shelf. When she came upon a jar that looked particularly interesting, she’d remove it carefully from its designated spot and inspected it closely. It was when she removed a jar of thick green, gooey looking liquid that she spotted the dust laden book hidden behind it.
