His huge hawk-like nose and beady eyes saw to that. When Leah started to clear her throat, Theodore’s head snapped up and landed on her. He gave her a slight smile before addressing her father. “Sir, you have a beautiful daughter.” Her father nodded, but said nothing, giving Leah a pointed look as if to say, “You better not mess this up!” Leah rolled her eyes at her father, then pasted on a fake smile for their guest. “Thank you for the compliment. I’m Leah. And you must be from the Blackwell clan?”

Embarrassed by what happened, Leah quickly pulled away from Lejandro’s hold and said: "Thank you so much for helping me," Leah said and left. "Leah’s voice really sounds familiar to me... Just like Elijah’s voice back then! But why does Elijah’s voice sound different now?" "Uhmmmmm..." Lejandro wondered to himself as he watched Leah head inside to freshen up. They were about to be introduced by Manang Elvie to their bosses, so she had to look presentable. Even if her face was hard to beautify, she still chose to fix herself up.

Leah's excitement was palpable as she practically skipped to Stasia's room. She just couldn't contain the big news that she had to share. She knocked on Stasia's door, her heart filled with anticipation. Stasia, her trusty friend, opened the door and looked at Leah, curious about her enthusiasm. "Why are you so happy, Leah?" she asked, noticing the big smile on her face. Leah couldn't wait to share her news. She grabbed Stasia's hands and burst out with joy. "Stasia, you won't believe it! Alpha Liam has picked me to be his mate, his Luna!"

Both Nicholas and I stood in front of panting Leila. “Leah, surface now”, ordered Nicholas. Her canines extended, and the emerald colors shining bright with her pupils dilated. “Mate”, growled leah. “Do you want us to mate you?” questioned Ace. “Yes please” she responded holding our hand.

"Who are you working for?" Leah took a shuddering breath, her eyes meeting mine with desperate apology. Then she spoke the words that made my blood run cold. "I'm a spy for Alpha Ian."

"Watch your words, or people will start to see you're not as pristine as you make out." Shylie didn't look away. "Watch yourself, Leah, before you threaten the people you don't know the rules about," she said, her voice a bare whisper. Leah blinked. For a second, she was icy cold. Then she laughed, a short, nervous laugh. "We will see who comes out on top." Shylie didn't reply. She simply turned and strode away, and Leah was left there, all anger and fear bubbling inside her. Leah looked at her two friends in turn, and the two friends responded with a smile. A smile that wasn't like the usual smile, a full of venom. The venom is so deadly, even deadlier than any snake.

“I like her. Much better than the last Luna.” My jaw clenches, and I glance at Leah. She raises a brow. “I’ll take that as a compliment,” she says smoothly. “It was,” Reyna answers. She leans slightly toward Leah, her violet gaze curious now. “What’s your name?” Leah glances at me and smiles faintly, as if asking for permission. I nod and she answers the Queen gently, “Leah.” Queen Reyna tilts her head. “Leah?” Leah shrugs lightly. “Yes ma'am.”
