He stepped back, his eyes flashing with anger and cruelty. "Who's the Wolf?" I demanded, a firm, unwavering voice. Isabella laughed, a harsh, teasing sound. "You'd never know. Spiders are everywhere and they're nowhere. You can't stop what you can't see." His words sent chills down my spine, but I refused to back down. "We'll see about that." With Isabella in hand, we began the interview and the hard part of the puzzle. He was stubborn, but we were determined to expose the truth.

She watched the battle unfold, her eyes narrowing as she assessed the situation. Finally, Astrid stepped forward, turning to Matilda, her voice clear and commanding. “We need to contain it, now.” Matilda nodded, knowing exactly what she meant. Astrid extended her hand, and a strange word echoed through the air. “Incarcera!” The word rippled with power, carrying an ancient energy that hummed through the clearing. I began the long sequence of the Ancestor's Storm spell. As soon as the last syllable fell from my lips, I yelled, "NOW!" I launched immediately into Conjuration of Soul Draining. The reversal of magic from the crazy lady wearing Ferria rocked through our group like we'd been hit by a tidal wave. I held onto Kiema as if all our lives depended on it. They did. They really fucking did.

" DEPEN! " He frowned from the pain dragging his claws from my chest, I coughed blood trying to heal my wound but it was too deep. It reached my heart, was he aiming at my heart? I saw Theodore in front of me as he is feeding me a piece of his soul. " No! " I tried to push him but he disappeared, was I really about to die! I stood up again looking at Rohan who is still in pain due to my DEPEN spell, I undo it and he jumped back to attack me but I made a barrier.

“Alright, Raven. You’ve studied the theory. Now let’s see what you can do.” My heart pounds. I lift my hand toward the first target, a wooden circle painted with a red X. The spell I memorized runs through my mind like a whisper. Ignis minor. A spark flickers at my fingertips. Then another. Then... A burst of blue‑white flame shoots across the barn and slams into the target, blowing it clean off the stand. Noah whistles. “Damn.” Grace beams. “Very good!” Liam nods, impressed but trying not to show it. “Again. But controlled this time.”

The rusty needles glowed with a red light. The cut on my wrist began to heal. Slowly, painfully, the flesh closed on its own. “No…” I moaned, horrified. “No, please…” I washed the blood from the sink, watching the skin recompose as if nothing had happened. The only evidence of what I tried to do was the thin, pink scar that now adorned my wrist. The spell was still active. And if I couldn’t die, neither could he. That night, I dreamed of Dorian.

His eyes changed color back to golden, collecting all his breath in his attack, ready to burn everything to the crisp and end the pests ruining his peace. Daphne smirked victoriously, the moment he released his fire Daphne cast her spell again. Crossing her arms, her eyes gleamed with white, opening a third eye on her forehead which flowed snow white blood as she cast her spell. “Halt the ignorant ones from grazing the purest skin. Discard their proximity as they don’t deserve to be your kin. Shatter the homes they live in- Ultimate Repel.” The fire stopped and Randall used his strongest spell, “Behold the agony of land; Earth’s Anger!” Randall cast his spell.

I shuddered at that statement. Delilah joined us. "We have a spell that can perceive someone's true intent," he said, gaining the complete attention of everyone in the room. "Explain!" stated Draked, coming to join us. "We call it Intentio Revelare," she continued. "Its purpose is to discern whether they harbour harmful or trustworthy intentions. It generates an aura around the target visible only to the caster. With the combined power of a group of us, we should be able to cast it over more than one target."

Grey carried the bloody eyeballs in his hands like gems, the key to his long awaited revenge. He stepped over Odyssey's body mangled beyond recognition the only identity left were the clothes he wore. The eyeballs dropped into the bowl raising the amount of blood already present. "The moon is will soon be in place. I am going start the spell, when a beam hits the bowl boil add fire!" The jacket sprawled across the floor as he rolled up his sleeves to more marks running up his arms. Both arms free over the alter his eyes turned milky white as he took in a deep inhale.

They were, of course, victorious, though Keyla didn’t like it when Randey pretended to cut the head from the non-existent Troll that led the phantom horde as a prize. There was one anxious and surprising moment when, in the course of their mock-battle, Keyla had uttered the words of one of the basic spells she had been learning, and it caused a spark among some leaves. The two of them had quickly stomped out any flame before it could expand, but they looked at one another in apprehension. “Did you really do that?” he asked. “I – I think so,” said Keyla, looking at her hands as though seeing them for the first time.
