Gemma asked in, her eyes shining with curiosity. "It is a book of forbidden magic. it needs the blood of someone who practices forbidden magic to be opened. Like my blood or maybe your blood. not everyone can do this, " Hazel explained and patted Gemma on her shoulder. "You have a lot to learn. Coraline should have taught you this already. I wonder why she hasn't. "

The last time she casted a spell, she was very weak so I was worried what spell she casted now. "Open it," Jax said, his voice sounding tense. My fingers fumbled with the clasp. I couldn't help but wonder what had gone wrong, how our once unbreakable bond had shattered so suddenly.
