It’s only when I hear the sound of a guitar string starting to play on the stage and the loud, high-pitched fans yelling at the members of Glitch arriving at their soundcheck that I look up and spot Spencer talking to my brother. Spencer’s cologne swirls in the room as he walks toward the couch and flops down on it. He has on an eerie smile that makes him look like a villain, and he is dressed like a Hollywood star. This is my first time seeing him in person, he is an attractive young man. “What are doing here, Spencer?” I ask him and his smile grows. “I told Cara to tell you I wanted to see you,” He says loosely. “And how did you know that I was here?” I ask him, dragging the “and”.

But they didn’t stay mad at me for too long. Just after telling my kids about Carlton, different shocking events began to clash together. First, Spencer was found and when tried, he exposed Tristian as the one sent him to pull the shot. The news made hot headlines and everyone had their different opinions. I wasn’t exactly surprised by the exposure because I had expected but it still it struck me so hard. It hurt knowing Tristian had boldly lied to my face. Sunny on the other hand was the only person, among everyone who didn’t want to believe Tristian was guilty.

“You’re not going to let this go, are you?” “No, I’m not. So unless you want Frankie to see me like this,” I uncrossed my arms and used my hand to motion at my naked body. He growled before stepping closer to me, his body crowded closer to mine and I felt the words die on my lips. Spencer’s eyes glowed brightly as his lip curled back ever so slightly to reveal the flash of sharp teeth. He spun around, angrily stalking over to his dresser and pulling out a pair of sweats and a hoodie before coming back over to me.

I watched Valentine and Ivana holding each other’s arms as they walked away without even realizing that a tear had already fallen from my eye. “Are you crying?” I felt Spencer’s hand caress my back. That quick slide of his hand pulled me out from the apparent misery that I was about to dive in. “What? No!” Quickly wiping the single tear on my cheek, I turned away from him. “Who are they?” Spencer asked, and now I finally decided to turn around and face him. I looked at Spencer in the eye as he returned the stare with mixed concern and confusion slithering in his face. I reached for his face and then kissed him.

Spencer approached him, his presence commanding. “Do you know who I am?” Spencer asked, his voice cold and detached. Chase shook his head, confusion etched on his face. “Well, hello to you too. What the hell do you think you are doing? No I don’t know who you are, who are you again?” Chase said, sneering. Spencer’s smile was a thin-lipped gesture. “I am Spencer Thompson. And you, Chase, are a dead man walking.” Chase’s eyes widened in terror as Spencer’s men drew closer and grabbed him tight by his pants. “What do you want?” he stammered.
