“Grey.” I turned to see Spider approaching, his wiry frame moving with the ease of someone who had long ago accepted the chaos of this line of work. His tactical gear was smeared with dirt and blood, and his usually cocky smirk was replaced with something quieter. “You look like you got run over by a truck,” he said, crouching beside me. “Feeling’s mutual,” I replied dryly, though my voice lacked its usual sharpness. Spider leaned back on his heels, his dark eyes scanning the scene. “Hell of a mess, huh?”

This time Leo leaves a hand on my shoulder and turns me to face Ben along with him. “Ben, this is Remington. Alpha Jamie’s son.” This one sentence changed the air around us. A new wind blew through the pack members as the truth of my bloodline was announced so simply in that one introduction. Whispers moved through the group but the loudest gasp came from right in front of me, standing next to Ben. For all the confusion this day held, I felt the worst for Mina right now trying to put pieces together she didn’t even knew existed.

None of it was about him, after all; none of it was going to change his life. But it could change Leeza’s life, maybe give her some semblance of peace. It could change the lives of the thousands of the Worthingtons’ victims. And if he did it right, it could change Claire and Wilbur’s lives. For the worse. Refocused now, Griff glanced at the spider tattoo guy again, and was startled when he saw that the man was over at Claire’s table, just chatting away amiably. A bit stunned that an uptown girl like Claire would have anything to say to Spiderman – even considering that she was in hiding and almost two thousand miles from Park Avenue – Griff settled himself in his chair and observed them.

Just as she started to turn around, a hand bolted out and gripped her arm, spinning her around with terrifying force. Isabella gasped, her breath catching in her throat. She found herself staring into the face of a total stranger. He was terrifying—a deep scar jagged down the right side of his face, and his right eye was hidden behind a dark patch, leaving only one cold, piercing eye fixed on her.

He says. "Now. I want you to get out of this car and place everything you're hiding on your body in front of you where I can see them." He instructs but I don't move. "You can move closer." He instructs into his earpiece and I instinctively look around. Flashing lights from another car appear and stops behind us. Another man with brown hair stops and moves to the back. I look between the car and the man beside me who holds a smirk. "I believe we haven't officially met. I'm the Spider." He says making my head fully snap to him.

“I’ll tell you all about it later. I have to go back before he suspects me.” “Are you sure about this, Rose?” A part of me isn't, but that part is the same one who cried for the bastard after he left me. That part is the one that was broke after I listened to Ethan's plans for my family. So no, that part won’t handle this. “Yeah, I’m sure.” I slipped my hand into my bag and grabbed the small medicine bottle. Drinking wine won't be the same again for him. I've heard stories about the black widow spider who kills her mate after mating. I found it fascinating how she followed her instinct, even if it meant killing her husband.

David hides behind a thick trunk. He hears a lot of spitting sounds as the bone spider continues to release a barrage of sharp bone daggers. Then silence. David peeks out of the thick trunk and he sees Bob angrily stabbing the spider with David’s bone knife. The creature tries to shake off Bob but the monkey rampages on its back. Bob holds on tightly to the bone spider’s large back and continues to stab its weak points with David’s sharp bone knife. Eventually, the bone spider stops moving as Bob manages to pierce its head by hitting a weak point on the skull. The bone spider falls flat on its body as Bob drives the knife deeper.

Suddenly there's a loud voice from his side and I looked at the screen raising my eyebrows. "Sorry.. Watching the new trailer of Spiderman" "Already out? I need to watch it too" I said excitedly. "I'll share the screen with you.. wait! Let's watch it together" He said and I waited for him to share his screen with me. I looked at the screen and it's on.. We watched the Spiderman trailer together and damn! The new guy is dang hottie.. "I want to watch it so bad" "Do you like Marvel?" He asked.

Then, softer, almost unwillingly, “But history has been wrong before.” She paced once, restless. “There were whispers. Bloodlines thought extinguished. Children born outside the pack. Hidden in plain sight. Marked but unclaimed.” She stopped in front of me. “If this were a mistake,” she said, her voice darkening, “the power would have rejected you. It would have torn you apart.” My chest tightened. Fear crawled up my spine. “I’m scared.” Mira’s eyes locked onto mine. “The wolves you saw,” she said slowly, “silver, gold, red, black… those are not pack wolves. Those are ancient aspects. Guardians of bloodlines long buried.”

Mom asked. He took a few steps in and said, "ma'am, master Leonardo wishes to speak with you at his study room!! Please come fast". ( Anderson left after informing mom). She turns her eyes back and signed her way out to meet her new boss, leaving me behind in the room and thankfully she didn't say, I shouldn't explore the mansion, I've got to do some sightseeing.
