I stood still, watching as he exchanged handshakes with my friends "How is she?" I asked Spider as we made our way into his house "Weak, she still isn't ready to say a word," Spider said and I nodded, making my way toward his stairs "Let's see how long she can keep quiet," I pulled out my phone, swiping through the video that had his twenty years old brother walking out of his apartment where he schools in Spain

All the ends of the spider's legs have turned into armored spikes, its mouth is open wider than a spider’s mouth should be as it flashes rows and rows of black teeth. My arms fly up in defense. I scream the only thought that comes to my mind. “HEAL!” A blinding bright white and golden light bursts out of me sending Noroya flying in a tree as time returns back to normal. When I see her again, half of the spider’s body looks like it was charred by an explosion. It is crumpled at the bottom of a tree. Vertigo hits and I lose my balance. My knees hit the ground. ‘You need to get out of here. Now!’

The deeper she went, the more sluggishly she moved, the strands not breaking easily, their sticky grip slowing her movements until she couldn't take another step. Alright. Don't panic. It's just some spider webs. If I just take a deep breath and work myself free one limb at a time, I can get out of this. A calm, logical plan until, before her disbelieving eyes, a spider, more like a monster, with eight hairy legs, a million ruby eyes and a wicked set of fangs lowered itself on a thick cable like strand. The size of a large dog on steroids, she could have sworn the nightmarish freak grinned at its foolish blonde dinner. Holy freakn' shit.

He didn’t flinch. “You think he’ll talk to me again?” Spider was quiet for a moment. “Yeah. Eventually. But you might have to be the one who starts the conversation.” “I don’t know if I can take the silence again.” “Then break it before it becomes permanent.” I nodded slowly, the weight in my chest not gone but a little lighter. Just enough to breathe. Spider glanced down at me. “Also, if I catch you dancing with another dude who wears his sunglasses indoors, I will throw you into traffic.”

He tosses it up in the air and it begins to come to life slowly making it’s way towards me with lights beaming out of it. Sweat is building up on my brow and my breathing begins to become erratic as I watch it slowly come towards me. The orb stops a foot from my face and my eyes widen in a panic when I see two spider like legs slowly emerge from it. I try screaming, I can only get muffled sounds barely audible to come out. Tears are pouring down as I try to wiggle out of this hold, but I can’t get free. I can’t even move. “What are you doing?” a stern man’s voice is heard down the hallway.

The ship had sailed. I felt like a desperate bitch. My phone vibrated. Lately, I felt excited when it did because no one had ever tried to remember calling me at this time. When I looked at the screen, it was not who I expected it to be. FORREST: Did you get home safe? I rolled my eyes before I typed my reply. NO. Why do you even care? I was dragged by a gargantuan spider in the alley, bit me, and imprisoned me with its gross and sticky web. Now, I’m dying. Lonely. And it’s all because of you.
